We stayed at the Oasis for 2 nights on our visit to Chiang Mai and were so impressed by the hotel and staff- particularly Dowan (sp?), who greeted us in the morning with a warm smile, advised us on which trips to take, and provided transportation. She went above and beyond- we thought she was the owner of the hotel! We were so thankful for her and everyone at the Oasis.

Last August I was in Thailand with a small group of friends celebrating my "not 40 yet birthday" and we spend 3 days at Baan Saen Doi Spa Resort in Chiang Mai. Before our arrival, the Manager handling our reservation was helpful and very service oriented. We have booked also the pick up service and the driver was waiting for us with a smile. At chek in, all explanations were clear and extremely pleasant. They upgraded us to a Suite and they helped us in choosing our activities during our 3 days in Chiang Mai. The breakfast maybe is not the most diverse but we understood they were still setting the service up. Swimming pool is a few steps away and also the Spa that we used. The massages were excellent and all in all a fantastic experience and a true Oasis in Chiang Mai. It is needed to say that it's not in downtown but with very easy access to. I would highly recomment this hotel and I will definitely stay again in my next trip to Chiang Mai, hopefully soon.
Oasis Baan is an amazing boutique hotel, beautifully decorated in Lanna style, charming and very quiet. The corner rooms where we stayed were spacious and simply beautiful. Very good continental breakfast (there is a choice between continental and asian breakfast). The swimming pool (2 minutes away from the main building) is big and has also a nice pool for kids. A lovely restaurant in the same area of the pool serves excellent and not expensive food with a beautiful view on the mountains (20% discount if you are a guest from the hotel). Oasis Baan is an excellent gateway if you want to have a quiet, private vacation alone or as a family. There is a convenient free shuttle to go to the city in the morning (9.30 am) and late afternoon (6.30 pm). To return, you can easily negotiate a ride with a taxi, tuc tuc or the red truck for 200 bahts (or you can take the shuttle which returns to the hotel at 6 pm). The hotel can arrange a trip with a travel agency to go to the elephant camps or Doi Suthep. At the Oasis you can also have a relaxing massage (Oasis is a chain of SPA located in Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Phuket), more expensive than the ones on the street or in the city but the 2-hours packages are a real experience. The hotel also offers a free shuttle from and to the airport. If you are looking for a quiet gateway, Oasis is uour place and you will not regret it.
They decorated the hotel in Lanna style. The room is quite big. The staff is very helpful in every section especially Ms. Aoi. If you know Ratilanna; Chiang Mai, This hotel is a model for Ratilanna. But this hotel is quite for from the city. It's suitable for the person who love private and peace. If the people who like night life and shopping, I wouldn't recommend to stay here. You have to walk about 5 mins to get a nice swimming pool and sport club.
A year ago, our family has vacationed at hotel . But we still can not forget our vacation. And every time we rest in other hotels, we remember you. We want to tell you our gratitude. our vacation was memorable. The staff was very considerate and friendly to our children and us . The number and aera are always clean and very elegant. All our requests were carried out immediately. And the atmosphere is very calm. Our youngest son did not want to leave, and now all the time asking, or we have once again come to you. I did not know that the world still have so kind, sympathetic and good peole who love their work.
