We booked this hotel due to the good reviews, we checked out after 1 night, windows in bedroom rotten and no nets on the window, lots of bugs getting in, beds were very hard, very dated hotel needs lots of work, staff were friendly and answered any questions we asked, Wi-Fi only worked around the pool area, pool area clean and tidy, just wasn't for us

Stayed: April 2018, travelled as a couple

Booked online, got a tuktuk to hotel not realising it was the other side of the river from the main hustle of the city.
Hotel is approx 20minute brisk walk down a main road into the city. We are two friends who are girls travelling together, we walked into the city both day and night and felt safe in our surroundings.
The hotel is good value for money if you don’t want to stay in a hostel.

Rooms are very basic but spacious.
Rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom, tv and wardrobe/draw space. Only negative is bed is very hard and from 4am the train station near by starts making announcements over a speaker.

Hotel has a pool area which is very clean, pool also clean but very cold!
Restaurant was good for money and lovely food.

Staff at the hotel speak very limited English but always smiling and try to say hello. House keeping came daily with clean towels, toilet roll and fresh bed linen.

Would recommend to travellers who would prefer a guest house to a hostel

The hotel looks totally different from the pictures. The room was okay but everything is old and with mosquitos inside the room. The best thing of this hotel is that it is very close to the train station so it is okay to stay for a night to take train the day after. Anyway, the price is cheap so you get what you pay for.

The place was clean and our room was ok. The breakfast was just your basic but it started our day. It was great that we just walked across the road to get the train but it was about a 40 minute walk into town. Just a little far for us but we made it work.

You get what you paid for. Very cheap accommodation but the bed sheets were clean. Shower did not work well in our room but the AC was functioning with no problems. Wifi signal was good but requires you to sign in again after 15 min. Hotel needs many updates but for the price it was as expected. Very close to the train station but I could barely hear the trains or announcements. Takes about 25 min to walk to the night bizarre.
