I really like WonderTour's tours. This company was formerly known as Wonderful EcoTours. It had been closed for years due to the coronavirus pandemic around the world. Now the company started to open again and changed its name to Wonder Tour. The tours to Chiang Dao Cave in Chiang Mai, Khun Korn Waterfall and White Temple in Chiang Rai were really enjoyable. The tour guide is amazing.

My wife and I booked the One Day Trekking in Doi Inthanon National Park package. This tour was very well organized. We were picked up right on time at our hotel. The tour on our day consisted of myself, my wife, another couple, and one other person. The small group for the tour was great and allowed for good conversation with the tour guide. Visiting the Karen tribe was a unique experience and we loved the coffee they made there. The hike was shorter than we thought (about 2-3 miles) but a great way to explore the area. The views are wonderful. We told the tour guide of our dinner reservations during the tour. He timed it perfectly so we got back to the hotel with time to freshen up for dinner. We would definitely take a tour with them again.

Such an amazing and authentic tour! Tong picked us up at our hotel right on time and he was great! Told us all about his background and very knowledgeable about the elephants and national park. The hike was one of my favorite parts! Wasn’t sure what to expect but saw beautiful waterfalls and then walked into rice fields and saw coffee bean trees and a local village. All in all highly recommend this tour!

This is exactly the activity I was dreaming about before leaving for Chiangmai. I was looking for a real experience, not just some fun for tourists.
Our guide Tong picked us up at the hotel at 7 and I immediately realized he was the perfect guide: funny, speaking a fluent English and, most important, born in the jungle. I really enjoyed listening to his stories.
We did so many things in one day that is hard to put everything in one single review! First we visited a place where the elephants live free. You can not ride them (that's great because it means they respect the elephants there) but you can feed and wash them. So much fun!!
Then Tong cooked for us an amazing lunch and we moved towards Doi Inthanon where we visited the King & Queen Pagoda. Believe it or not, that was just the beginning. In the same day, we made a wonderful hiking through the jungle, we jumped into the clean water of a river, we visited a huge waterfall.. Wow, what an experience!!

We choose the elephant care and Doi ithanon combined in 1 day. It was very nice. The trekking was duable with 2 hours and 2 Waterfalls. The coffee at the local village was nice with good coffee, but short and you don't see many local people. The guide is really good, his name is Thong, very nice with good attitude and humor. Calls himself Thong Cruise. Also, you really can joke with him if your up to it. We had a nice time with Thong and the elephants were great. The elephants seemed happy and there was enough time with them. If you need anything, Thong will provide. Thank you Thong. Greets Ali aka 'Shots Fired'.
