Good value suites

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 31 Oct 2012
I stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed this hotel. Well appointed rooms, don't trust precious reviews as the older rooms are much larger and just as nice. Good breakfast, enough choices and attentive reception staff. Well done Ann, Boy and Pom, thank you for your help.mone suggestion, wear slippers around the pool as it is very slippery.

I was staying here 4 days with my husband because we wanted to visit Bangkok. We read a lot about different hotels and we decided to stay here because we read it was good located. It is located near to the BTS and this is good, but it is located in a very strange street, the first day when we arrived we were really afraid.
The hotel inside is very nice, the room is very confortable, and also the bed.
The breakfast is also very good.
What I really disliked was the stuff. There are some guys in the door and they are very very nice and helpful, but the people at the reception can not speak really english and we had a problem with the bed sheets. I had a massage with oils and the bed sheets were apparently so dirty that they could not wash them...and they wanted to charge us more than 20 euros for that! I was so dissapointed! We tried to discuss about it but they just ignore you, and the funny part was that the next day was not 25 euros anymore but 22...they just try to cheat you and i did not feel really good there.
It is a pity, the hotel is good but they have to treat you better.

It was a good experience, especially since we had been put up in their new tower. The hotel is centrally located and equidistant from Asok Metro station and another station ( the name of which i forgot). It is walking distance from both the stations. The hotel has a wonderful decor, the breakfast is good and so is the room service. The swimming pool is also quite big and relaxing. The rooms are spacious with basic kitchenette. The hotel also has free wifi facility. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpfull. I stayed here for 3nights and 4 days. The room also has an iron/iron board with safety box. The hotel is at a stone throw away distance from a mall.
The only thing which was not there was a good view, but cant complain since it was in the heart of the city.

We stayed in Legacy Suites for 2 nights, and I could easily say that because of Legacy Suites, I would rather stay in the hotel the entire night than go out and explore more of Bangkok. Close to both BTS Asok And MRT Sukhumvit, roughly a 7minute slow-paced walk, the hotel is truly one of Bangkok's best kept secrets! Upon arrival in the hotel, the memory of the street where we walked from was immediately erased by how beautiful the place was. At first, you would be surprised that this 5-star looking establishment is hidden in Soi 29.

Check-in was a breeze, and I was greeted by Ms. Rawin the moment I stepped foot in the reception area. All of her staff were extremely hospitable, greeting you with a smile and offering you all the help you need to make your trip flawlessly perfect. Ms. Gift was the one I exchanged emails with and I was sad to not give her my thanks as well. Everyone was helpful, and it will give you the feeling that you are in a 5-star hotel getting VIP treatment. Ms. Rawin mentioned that we were given a free upgrade to the new tower's Deluxe Suite, and it is a room that is definitely a huge plus!

We were ushered into the room, and we were simply blown away by how beautiful the room was. It more of a big square-shaped area rather than a long rectangular one like the one in their 3d designs, and it was divided into two areas: the living room with an L-shaped sofa with TV, kitchenette and dining table, and then a divider that leads to the bed room with a great view of the swimming pool area.

Everything was clean and well-lit, you would immediately brighten up upon seeing the room. The kitchenette had all the necessary equipment you would need if you needed to cook up a late-night snack, and the sofa was in the ideal location for kicking back and watching tv. Two aircon controls were provided so you would have two separate temperatures for your living room and bed room.
The bed was nice and soft, with FOUR pillows. The comforter was very plush as well; all in all a great sleeping experience. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower head inside, and this was the one that was the cherry on top of the ice cream for me. Having a separate shower from the bathtub was a nice plus.

They have a lovely swimming pool, two restaurants, and a gym facility that look lovely and clean. I was not able to try the amenities, but I am positive that they are just as awesome as how they look. The bathroom kit was replenished every day, and they will clean your room if you ask them to daily.

The buffet breakfast was more American than Thai, and we were expecting to eat pad thai and the like. However, this did not stop us from having our stomachs filled as they give you the right amount of choices to jumpstart your day. They also have two areas that serve the same food, so there is no line whatsoever when you are getting food. The food was yummy, and quite filling. This is the ideal buffet that you look for when you want to start your day early.

All in all, I really do not understand why this is not higher on the tripadvisor list. The price for this hotel does not do justice to its great facilities and even greater staff. Nothing bad to say about this place, because they have made our stay a memorable one. This is a truly hidden gem in the middle of the bustling area of Sukhumvit, and one is crazy not to stay here when they travel in Bangkok. If the rooms, the facilities, the buffet breakfast are not enough to convince you, the hospitality of the staff will. Special thanks to Ms. Gift and especially to Ms. Rawin and their staff for making this Bangkok trip a very very memorable one. YES, we will definitely stay here again when we go to bangkok --this will be our home away from home.

Room tip: New Tower is worth the extra money, I am guessing that if there are any bad reviews on Tripadvisor, they stayed in tower 1. Get a pool view as well.

Stayed for 5 days 4 nights with a friend for a shopping trip. Room is big and comfy. It comes with with dining table, sofa, and mini kitchen completed with microwave, bread toaster, induction cooker, cutlery, and kitchen utensil. It also comes with iron and iron board.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pom/boy is even offer us weighing scale when he saw us with lots of shopping loots every single day and he specially delivered the huge luggage scale to our room.
Breakfast is 'so-so' and many item contain pork which I cant eat.
Bathroom is clean and well maintained, and it comes with both bath-tub and shower room. Toilets comes with spray jet which I found it very good.
The most important thing is...it comes with free wifi. So i can keep in contact with my family back home.
Few meters away from the hotel there is a massage place with good and strong masseuse which charge THB 250 for 60mins food massage.
The only "not so good" thing is its distance from the MRT station which is only about 10mis walk. But after 6-12 hours shopping, 10mins is way too far for me. However, taxi meter is very cheap comparing to Singapore and there are not many traffic during late night.

we stayed at the legacy twice during the last two weeks and it is faultless. i booked the 'new tower experience' on the legacy website - lovely room, the most comfortable bed, great variety for breakfast, and finally SUCH friendly staff. the 2 concierge's where very helpful with advice and the receptionists were very efficient - always a smile on their faces, especially Nana whom went that extra mile in helping me with my many questions...
This hotel is definitely my number 1 choice when in Bangkok.....
