My favourite place to take visitors to Bangkok. A very unusual temple with some spectacular and unusual stupas etc. Would have given an excellent but last few times I've been they are doing renovations with little regard to visitors.

First time i had a Thai massage and this was money well spent.
The place is worth tracking down as its away from the madness of Bangkok.
Cost 450bht, did not have to hang around long. Lasted for 1 hour and came out feeling 2 feet taller.
Highly recommended

Sure you can get a 100THB for an hour foot, neck and shoulder massage in Bangkok, but you have to go a bit out of town to look for it. The Wat Po Massage School has a good reputation, and they do a good job. Staff are attentive, and the place is popular. How can you resist after walking around Wat Po, and knowing that you'll probably be walking around the Grand Palace the rest of the day! Blissful relaxation in the middle of a busy day! Go in and check them out.

Tip: go for the 1 hour option with the warm Thai herbs treatment for 520 baht; is worth it, not only because you are experienceing the massage at the 'serene' grounds of a temple complex, but also because of the smell of this warm herbal 'stamping'. It's definately something different from all the other massages. My experience here is that the staff is well trained and very dedicated to do their work, whether you go for the foot massage, the 'regular' one or the herbal one. If you want to avoid waiting times, try to be there around closing time 4.30-5.00 pm or early in the morning (8.30-10.00).
