Went there with my customers and bosses. We had a lot of good food but cannot shale off the feeling that the captain misguided us on how many dishes were ordered.

The restaurant dining hall and VIP rooms all look very good and well maintained. Good for business meals. This restaurant apparently has won many awards over the years (see attached photo).

We had a 4-season starter platter, seafood-mango spring roll, cha siu, crispy pork, shark fin soup, peking duck, steamed garoupa, goose web and mushroom, prawns with glass noodles, and broccoli with scallops (which was canceled in time).

The Peking duck crispy skin was sliced off expertly with very little fat - good. The second dish from Peking duck - noodles fried with the meat - was excellent.

Cannot say that the food was bad but a few dishes were a bit off. The BBQ spare ribs were tough to bite into, the steamed white chicken tough and both of these came in the platter!

As a dim-sum eater, i think the taste of the dim sum in this restaurant were pretty plain. For a preliminary try, i ordered the Yang Chow Fried Rice and Siew Mai (Dim Sum). I rated both as below average though the portion served were reasonable. As far as prices were concerned, the food do not come cheap.

Very welcoming and attentive staff. Food was lovely and seemed authentic. Lots of jasmine tea throughout the meal
We had prawn and cashew nuts, crispy pork some noodles and rice. More than enough for two.
Very clean

We’ve eaten at Jasmin a few times, both for dim sum and for dinner. The quality of the food is very good and the portions are fair. But.....

We went last night and ordered crispy chicken, a vegetable with crab dish, and fried rice. The vegetable dish and fried rice came out and we started, the a little later, they come out with a menu and say no crispy chicken? What the.....? I mean, at a restaurant with about half a dozen chicken dishes on the menu, who supposedly runs out of chicken after being open for, maybe, an hour? We figured they simply didn’t want to cook it for us, but didn’t want to lose all the business, so they brought the other two dishes out first.

Very bad form and we won’t return there for dinne4 any longer.

Whenever i want to each Chinese food, I will come to this restaurant. Their Beijing duck and their dim-sum are the best. There are private rooms also.
