This hotel is located just off Sukhumvit Road and is close to the Skytrain station. It has a good selection of restaurants and the breakfast selection is good. If you want to explore other options for dinner, there are a lot of good bars and restaurants just a short walk/tuktuk ride away. Great choice as a stopover hotel.

Seen better days.. the rooms are a bit old fashioned, and worn. Old carpet. Doors on cabinet hanging part open. Pool not sized for the amount of people living at the hotel. The worst is, the permit smoking by the pool. It says smoking in designated areas, but people just picks up an ashtray and smokes everywhere. When I was there it seemed everyone where smoking. My cloths smelled of smoke after an hour by the pool. When I pointed it out to the waiters, they just laughed. (I guess that's the Thai way) The price was descent, nice location, nice breakfast, but the worn rooms small pool area drags down the impression. Will I be back? Most likely I will checkout other places.

Apologies about the smoking around the pool. There should only be a controlled area around the pool that allows smoking, you witnessed that not being enforced. This has been brought up to the manager regarding this on more than one occasion since your comment was first raised. Hopefully you will see a difference the next time you stay. Thais can sometimes smile or laugh when in a face-losing situation or in a situation that they do not feel comfortable with (they should then get a more senior staff member to deal) which can often be misconstrued by visitors.
Thanks again and we shall look forward to your return.

Very nice spacious rooms with highly attentive staff.I ate at almost all of the restaurants inside this hotel and they were all pretty good. I think this hotel was a very good deal for the price. It was pretty close to a lot of things so you don't only have to eat what the hotel offers.

Location has always been absolutely key for any hotel stay and we are blessed with ours. Value for money has become and continues to be very important too. We recognise this and try to have at the core of everything we do, alongside the best quality we can. One without the other weakens any product or service.
Thanks again and we shall look forward to your return.

Our overall experience was very good. The hotel is well located, the staff is very friendly (as in all Thailand) and the rooms were very spacious. The only bad thing is that it's an old hotel (don't worry is very clean), the carpet is very old and the decoration is from the 80's.

Stayed for two nights while in Bangkok.
Location was ok. Breakfast was ok. The pool wasn't very nice though.
It was reasonably priced. The check in was smooth as was check out. Our room was nice with some baby bananas and complimentary water in there. It's all a little dated to be honest. We booked a private tour from the gentleman at the tour desk he was friendly. We paid £80 each for 10-2:30 city and temple and grand palace tour which was actually really worth it. I was quite surprised.
The restaurant outside the hotel is amazing for food and I highly recommend it for drinks too. Much more reasonable than the hotel.
Regarding taxis... don't expect them to put the meter on around this area. We paid 500 baht from the hotel and around 200 baht to koh San road. Service was good and staff were all lovely.

Wise words about the taxis although it should be pointed out that we have no control over the taxis that are flagged down on the street as to their subsequent attitude and/or behaviour. Either way book ahead to ensure getting the right price at the right time. Many of the free roaming taxis will often try to only accept fixed price fares, especially to the airports and/or at peak travel times, which can often pressure their customers into accepting these higher rate tactics. That is why it is a good idea in general to use one of the newer taxi groups or Uber (to minimise taxis not running on the meter amongst other things) if our recommended and preferred limo option is not taken. We have a letter in all the rooms telling our guests of this situation and also to avoid the taxis parked opposite but it is also very important to only accept taxis that are running on the meter. We always want our guest to have safe, high quality and well-valued experiences and it is important to realise that you more often than not get what you pay for which is why we proudly recommend our limo service, professionally operated and licensed. Often not the case, worryingly.
Thanks again and we shall look forward to your return.
