Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam

I had to hire one room at Holiday Inn Express near National Stadium as a back up for a family that could not get a room at Novotel Siam Square where rest of us were staying. I think it is a limited service hotel so you need to be prepared to carry your own luggage to the room!! It's a new hotel so its quiet nice and the rooms are fairly large in size... Very conveniently located next to all the happening malls. It's a short walk to MBK and the BRT station for visit to other parts of town... Breakfast not so great but OK! All in all it's a good hotel sans all the frills... So basically just the way you look at it!! Front Desk staff very efficient and are used to handling large groups... No swimming pool or any other recreation area!

This hotel is located near the Siam Paragon, MBK shopping mall, and the train station just opposite the hotel. No doubt this hotel's location is the best. The room rate was good and the breakfast was included. The lobby was quite small and pretty crowded but the check-in was fast. The staffs were friendly. The room was clean and new. The design was simple and modern. I love to stay in this hotel again. Perfect choice for business travellers or tourists.

I had a bad experience in other Bangkok hotel and changed into this one. I was very pleased: excellent location (near sky train station and Jim Thompson museum) and excellent value for money. The lobby employees were very effective. Free computer with internet and WI-fi. The breakfast it's not the best in the world but it's OK. Rooms are new and clean.
Excellent as a tourist.

We stayed a couple of nights here in July 2012. The hotel and rooms are very new and modern, but the decor is pretty bland and basic. Breakfast was dismal and lacked variety and taste. The odors from our toilet also had a life of their own. This is an OK place to stop over in for a night or two if you're not after anything fancy or romantic, as the price is good, as is the location. Go next door to Siam@siam to experience their rooftop bar!

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days and it was money well spent.we took the airport link to phaya thai (45 baht) and transferred to BTS station and got off at BTS national stadium (20 baht). we arrived early and left our luggage at the hotel's store room so we can go around the nearby malls like MBK, Siam Paragon and Siam Center. the room was clean and spacious, complimentary water and tea/coffee were available, basic toiletries such as shampoo and soap are available. If you forgot your toothbrush, comb etc. you have to call up the front desk so they can give you what you need. the buffet breakfast was abundant however it may seem to lack variety, they serve almost the same thing everyday. they serve baked pastries, cereals, fruits and yogurt, sausages, rice and congee. as for the free wifi, connection was stable and fast (we stayed on the 17th floor). this is my hotel of choice if I visit Bangkok again.
