Spent half a day roaming around the mall, some sellers are not nice. The first time,we went there wearing very simple casual clothes and most of the sellers would look at us from.head to toe before answering us. The following day, we wore nice clothes and received better customer service. You can haggle but don't push it too much because the sellers will be mad at you and tell you to just leave or look for another shop or even ask you if you can't understand english. You have everything from clothes, gadgets, accessories, shoes, makeup, name it they have it but 99% of their items are fake however some of them would look really identical to originals and the prices are almost the same as the original ones. It was nice that the mall was connected to.other establishments so it was accessible.

This is a good place to buy stuff. However, you will need to bargain. As they usually mark up the prices. Nevertheless, not everything can bargain.

Please also take note that most of the branded stuff here are imitation. If this is the concern, don't buy branded goods there.

I've been to Central World, Siam Paragon, and Terminal 21 but this is my favorite. Maybe cause I'm from NYC so I don't care for brand names when I'm traveling so I prefer this place the most. Obviously if you want brand names, this is not the place to go to. This is like a flea market but inside with AC. They have a food court, an arcade, theatre, and escape the room too. So you can spend a whole day here.

The food court could be better though. Most of the stalls offered the same thing.

We stayed at the Patthumwan Princess hotel during the last 5 days of our holiday in Thailand. And while that stay at that hotel gave us some mixed feelings, MBK definitely did not! In fact...we shopped until we dropped! For us adults and our kids we loaded up our suitcases easily.
We visit MBK every hoilday at least once, but this time we've seen it every day and it simply could not bore us. We've seen most of the floors from front to back, from left to right. And everything is there, from supermarket to restaurants, bowling alleys to cinema, hairdressing to massage and nearly anything you could possibly be looking for.
Mind you...at some stalls we found out you have to bargain hard! A large metal garuda we bought at Big Buddha Phuket costs 1500 Baht, while a small one here had a starting price of 2000 Baht! So yes, sometimes you have put on that smiling face and go way below this starting price. Not satisfied with the price, then say thanks and walk away. Eventually you'll get the article about the price you wanted, everyone wants to sell.
Hungry? Try the food court at level 5. If you're a fan of Isaan food, pay a visit to Yam Saeb! Can't go wrong with this one!
Thai Movies are fun too, the cinema is at the top floor.
The most funniest thing was seeing how all the shops opened up around 10.00-10.30 and seeing them close at 21.00-21.30 ! We've never seen this before.
4 days of shopping and eating...can't wait to back again!
