We returned to Bangkok Loft Inn again this year ( stayed twice last year ) it is still the same great service, rooms & hospitality. Breakfast is great pretty decent choice even without choosing from their daily menu of Eggs, Bacon etc........there is so much variety you dont need to eat again till early afternoon. Its not downtown but we never paid more than $3 max from Ko San Rd or MBK in a Taxi & of course the Skytrain is around the corner.
If you stay 3 nights theres a free taxi to or from the airport a plus
This hotel is great I'm sure it will be really booked up soon

Excellent stay at Bangkok loft inn. We had free airport pickup since we were staying 3 nights. Airport pickup was there on time and it took about 30-40 mins to drive back to the hotel. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious. For the price we paid, it was the best rooms we had stayed in during our 3 weeks trip to Thiland and Vietnam. 5 minute walk away to the BTS. Less than a 100 bath taxi ride to anywhere else of interest.
This is a local seafood street restaurant across from the hotel and it was excellent.
The staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat and see.
Breakfast was very good, alot of choices for main courses and a variety of desserts and fresh fruit everyday.
Definitely would go back there!

We stayed here 3 nights. It's about 5-10 mins walk from the sky train station at the end of the line. From there it's about 25mins to the city centre. While it's on a busy road there is no road noise. The breakfast was good with some nice yoghurts and fruits. We used the laundry service which was good and fast. There are two computers to use for guests. It was a nice place to come back to after a hectic day shopping or sightseeing. Only drawback was that there was no pool and no good restaurants in walking distance.
I'd definatly recommend it though.

Stayed two nights at the Loft Inn after reading good reports on Trip Advisor
Will not say much more other than to say just.... book this hotel stay and enjoy a very pleasant
stay in Bangkok.
The only problem that I expect is that it will become so popular that to make a reservation will be difficult.
Would I stay here again yes I would
Great Value, nice room, good breakfast and very friendly helpful staff!

When we first started to look for an accomodation in Bangkok, options were many to choose from budget to top hotels. We wanted to feel a more "thai" hotel than a well-known chain hotel, and to be honest, price also invitated us to take this nice hotel.

Booking was really easy. I first asked by email about prices and availability and after a coupple of mails more I got my confirmation without any credit card needed to confirm. Spending 3 nights there we got free pick up at the airport. It was a nice touch to arrive to BKK and see your name posted waiting for you.

This is a family run hotel very well maintained quite far from the top attractions of Downtown Bangkok, but if you don't mind to walk 5 minutes to the skytrain and then transfer to a boat just 3 stops ahead and enjoy a terrific view from the river, this is the hotel you need just to sleep after a full sightseeing day!.

You will find two main things (among others): clean and warmth at this hotel. All places are spotless clean and very well maintained, eventhough you will not find any luxury over there, all place look nice an fresh. Room is large enough and have A BIG bed... but I mean BIG. that's what we liked the most.

Lady Staff at the front desk are very helpful and care about you. They give you and advice where to get cash or change money (ATM just behind the hotel and exchange office crossing the main street at the corner - both without comission!). They also ask you about what kind of breakfast you like to try every day, "american" or "thai". I tried both and were very good. There is also a tiny-buffet to get coffe, juices, milk, pastries and fruit. All is well apointed and service of the lady at the little restaurant area is very nice as well. She recommended us to go to the Thai Show Siam Niramit which is A MUST when you visit BKK, it is really worth it every penny you paid for that.

Only down of this hotel is that traffic is terrible in the main avenu where is located and if you get a room facing the street for sure you'll have some problems when sleeping. That was our case but we could manage it without issues because we were so tired that not even the noise from outside could wake up us. (otherwise you just have to ask to be change to a room in the back part).

In general, if you just need a clean, service oriented staff , very confortable bed and shower room at a very-very-very good price, give it a try!!!... not for nothing is in the top ten hotels in BKK!.

Bon voyage!!!

Room Tip: Avoid rooms facing the main avenue!!!
