We found this place on trip advisor and we decided to give it a go based on the reviews. On arrival at the hotel we were not expecting much as it was down a bad enough alleyway. But from the first minute it was nothing but immaculate. It's a very basic hotel but it was very clean, quiet, cosy and just what we wanted. What really makes this hotel is the staff, the nicest and friendliest people we've come across, they were so helpful with everything. They are just brilliant! Highly recommend it, especially for it's good value.

The hotel's street isnt that beautiful and look kinda bad actualy but when you arrive in front of the hotel, you wont regret it!

The people at the reception are so kind and really helpful, I always saw their smile! :)

The standart room is good for the price we paid! The only negative point I would find is the shower. The water flow all around the bathroom so you kinda have to be careful but its nothing!

The wifi is good, the breakfast is really yummy and its not noisy at all! We just slept there like babys haha!

The hotel isnt far from Kaosan (5min by feet) and from Siam center (10min by car with traffic)

I really advice you to go there without if you are looking for a sweet hotel at a good price :)

I stayed here for three nights with one friend, both of us small girls in our 20s. We felt very safe here. The staff gave us tips about which routes were safest to take to the tourist attractions. They are very willing to write down addresses in Thai for the taxi drivers, so there is no miscommunication. They also held on to our passports because the hotel room didn't come with a safe, very trustworthy. The room was small but very clean, and the a/c was great.

However, our room wouldn't lock the first morning. They had it fixed with in the hour.
There is also no way to pay via credit card at the hotel. You can online, but if you plan on paying at check out you need to have cash.

The ceiling of the bathroom had big moistures , so the whole room smelled musty . The room had a tv plug, but no TV. Besides we had a cockroach the second night , what was soooo disgusting. I don´t recommend it.

In the other hand, the staff and the ubication are really good.

Don't hesitate in booking here! We stayed here for 2 nights when first arriving in Thailand and the hotel made the whole Bangkok experience so much easier and more enjoyable. The location is ideal, 5mins walk from Khao San road but down a very quiet alley so we slept very peacefully - we also walked to the Grand Palace from the hotel, it took about 20mins. The hotel itself is really nice, with a lovely interior design, comfortable beds and a modern ensuite. Our room didn't have a window, but the air con meant this wasn't a problem at all - it actually helped us deal with our jet lag. The girls who run the hotel are SO NICE, they'll help you with whatever you need and are so welcoming.
Seriously, don't hesitate. Thank you Siamese Views Lodge!
