As I knew I was going to arrive late I sent several emails and messages to the hotel, never got an answer, the room they gave me when arrived was dirty/smelly and was kind of a hole, had to request a change and they took me to a different building with a decent room...poor breakfast...poor service...personally not recommended

After 6 visits to Thailand we hit a bump on the road and this was it. Waited at the airport for the free shuttle for over half an hour as the "resort representative" was too busy visiting & eating to address the needs of the resort's guests. Finally another representative stepped in to get the ball rolling. Selected the resort for a quick stop over based on other TA reviews. The "Resort & Spa" is located alongside the freeway to the airport. The front desk representative was obnoxious- might as well of not even had a reservation. Dingy, dirty & dark room - with a do not put any toilet paper in the toilet sign. On site restaurant had an extremely limited menu and was infested with mosquitos. Enough said, would not stay again or recommend others do so!

We've stayed here multiple times. I love this hotel for it's location close to airport and cost. we've never paid more than $23/night including breakfast. Thong Ta provides free shuttle service to and from the airport. We are usually staying just for the night and it is so convenient.
The accommodations are not fancy but comfortable and clean and has air con. The staff are helpful as well.
One thing to note: I make the reservation through agoda.com. Be sure to email the hotel giving them your arrival and departure information for shuttle service. When you arrive at the airport you will find them at the area by door 4 with all the others. The person there will contact the hotel and they will pick you up with about 15 minutes depending on traffic.

As I type this, the TV personality who recommended this hotel is getting an earful from my wife. This is an old property, which is strange as the Bangkok airport has not been close-by for very long. (Suvarnabhumi Airport opened in 2006) Its one saving grace is that it had a lift in our building, which is rear in Bangkok airport hotels.

Let’s start with the Dummy TV. On arrival there was a TV but we could not find the remote, so we called reception and a guy came and picked up the TV and took it away. It was at this point that we realised that it was just standing there with no mains lead or any other wires. He returned with another TV and cable box and fixed it up and got it to work. But in these days of Digital, just jamming a wire into a hole does not make for a good connection so some channels were more coloured blocks than picture. No BBC, despite it being on the sticky card listing the channels, no CNN, but there was France 24, NHK, and Al Jazeera, plus a couple of English movie channels.

The bathroom had no shower certain and was not what you might call clean. The toilet took 3 flushes to do its job. Due to the lack of shower curtain the floor got wet and I finished up on the floor thanks to those nice shinny floor tiles. Thailand does not do non-slip.

Somewhere on here you will find a comment about the breakfast (7am – 10am) and they were right. They must cook a batch of eggs and sausages at around 7am and put them on plates ready so when you come at 9am it is all cold. Must do the toast then too. But the coffee was warm. The difference in charge between with and without breakfast is 200bhat for 2 people, and so this is seriously over priced. Oh and there is only one fan for the whole room, so pick where you sit carefully.

On leaving we noticed our dummy TV sat in another room waiting for someone to ask for a working TV and pay a tip.

The hotel is 200m up a lane from the main road. There are thriving local street food stalls at night just at the end of the lane. Also two 7-11 in easy walking distance. You might like to trust this food over the hotel.

This hotel is like a fast food drive through, you are not miles away when you find out you have not got what you ordered, but in this case you are normally only here for one night, so most will stick with it, and not mind the gecko running around on the wall of your room, just for one night.

Other comments: bed rock hard, Air conditioner poor, with no temperature setting, just on and off. Plenty of AC power sockets (Thai 2/3 pin standard)

Ok it was cheap at around 1000bhat/night, so you get what you pay for but we had just paid 1000 a night for a whole house in Hua Hin and there was really no comparison. The people who work there should be deeply embarrassed.

Room B2 311 avoid it by name.

Room tip: Add a tip to help travellers choose a good room: choose another hotel
