“Nicest family run guesthouse”
Reviewed 19 January 2012

Location is about a 30 min walk from Pokhara high street and taxis drop you off about a 10 min walk up the hill. But this means you have a great location if you want to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet.

The family which runs the guesthouse are really friendly and make you feel like part of the family. You can join them for lunch and dinner and are happy for you to pitch in and help if you want to...but they don't expect it. The food is simple but really tasty.

We were slightly disappointed with the top room in the roundhouse. The shower wasn't very good and the room was not very practical. After our trek we moved to one of the rooms near the kitchen and it had plenty of room and felt better value for money.

There were a few small issues being that we mainly had cold showers (we didn't complain as it was really hot outside and the cold showers cooled us down) and washing got mixed up...but we really loved this place.

I stayed here for 2 nights following a trek in the Annapurna region. It is truly a peaceful place to relax after a long trek! I stayed in one of the round rooms and was thoroughly impressed - the room was bright, comfortable, and unique and I had a great view of the Peace Pagoda from my balcony. The staff were really terrific during my stay. They enjoy getting to know you and were extremely helpful when I thought I had lost my cell phone. The place is a family-run establishment, which I enjoy supporting more than the larger places. The location is away from the crowded streets about a half hour walk from Lakeside, but it's a nice and easy walk. I would certainly stay there again if I return for another trek.

Alles in allem wirklich emphelenswert.

Room Tip: Fuer Paare immer die oberste Etage des Round houses.

I really loved our stay here. There is fast internet and free breakfast! They cook really well and we always ate dinner with the family! Delicious! Also, one of the family members offered to guide us on a hike which was great. Everyone is really nice and helpful and they all do their best to make sure you are happy as can be! The place has great views and there is hot water and the beds are nice and soft :) I highly recommend the place! Although it is rather far from the center of town. That is the only downside!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hidden Paradise and we ended up extending our stay here for a few weeks! The hosts are very kind and helpful and we would like to thank Shree and Milan in particular for taking us on a 10 day trek to the Annapurna Basecamp. It was a truly unforgettable experience!! The guesthouse is situated about a 30 minute hike outside of Pokhara which is nice as you escape the city noise and are in the middle of nature. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. There are chairs outside on the veranda where you can enjoy the great views of the lake. We had a great time here and wouldn't hesitate to come back!
