Location is about a 30 min walk from Pokhara high street and taxis drop you off about a 10 min walk up the hill. But this means you have a great location if you want to get away from it all and have some peace and quiet.
The family which runs the guesthouse are really friendly and make you feel like part of the family. You can join them for lunch and dinner and are happy for you to pitch in and help if you want to...but they don't expect it. The food is simple but really tasty.
We were slightly disappointed with the top room in the roundhouse. The shower wasn't very good and the room was not very practical. After our trek we moved to one of the rooms near the kitchen and it had plenty of room and felt better value for money.
There were a few small issues being that we mainly had cold showers (we didn't complain as it was really hot outside and the cold showers cooled us down) and washing got mixed up...but we really loved this place.
