One of the great and affordable Guest houses in the Patan area. I stay in this particular Guest house whenever i come to Nepal, because of its cleanliness, rooms are really comfortable to sleep, it's near to every sight seeing locations around the Kathmandu, and more of that it's just you will feel as you are staying at your own house only. From the roof top, you can have a great view of entire Kathmandu surrounded by the giant beautiful hills (Valley) also the sunrise and sunset looks breathtaking from the top. The Owner of the Guest house Rupendra Shakya is really a wonderful human being one of the nicest people i have met, you will be delighted after you meet this man and his family, they are really friendly and very helpful.
You will get the mouth drooling food, they have this menu where you can avail a morning breakfast to dinner at night in a very affordable price, If you are really looking to explore in Nepal and really want to stay in somewhere out of the crowd hassle free area, this is the best place to start your journey.

Room tip: "Try to get the 1st or 2nd floor room to avoid the less connection of wifi."

This is probably the best and cheapest hotel in this area! The rooms are small but nicely furnished and clean. An extra are the two rooftops from which we have a great view over patan. The staff is friendly as well!
A minus is that the wifi range is only up to the 1st out of 5 floors.

I would recommend this hotel for everybody, long-term as well as short-term travellers.

Patan doesn't have cheap very accommodation. This is probably the cheapest one. The rooms are clean, bathroom ok, we had hot shower only in the morning. Although they were empty they didn't want to bargain for the price. We payed NRS 700. It's an ok room for this price, good 5 min walk from the main square. They have free wifi in the lobby.

Room tip: 401 has a view on some buildings, i'm sure there are better rooms with nice views.

I had stayed in a lot of budget hotels by the time I'd stayed here and I can say it felt like one of the better ones. It had a cosy feel which was helped by a carpeted floor which some budget hotels don't have. The shower was hot everyday which was a major bonus as, again, not all budget hotels have reliable hot water. There were extra blankets. The staff were lovely and helpful. The location was great, just seconds from Durbar Square. Plus, you can even order hot drinks to your room. Above all, the price is spot on. I would recommend this to someone on a budget.

Room tip: If the hotel isn't busy, ask to see a few rooms which is what we did and then we picked the one we liked best. Some are bigger than others, but they are all pretty similar.
