This shrine is pretty new but being developed along the lines of the oldest ones in Asia. Beautiful statues adorn the outside and wonderful carvings on the inside. If you want to see a big ol Buddha, this is your spot.

One of the biggest Buddha statue with magnificent view. Fresh air around...
Both morning and night views are great. I feel peace and zen just by being there.

We had our yoga practice too. Everything is just perfect.

You can see the buddha point from anywhere in the Thimphu city.
It's even prettier when you visit it.

Biggest attraction in Thimphu.Must visit.Largest Buddha in Bhutan.You feel at peace.This top of the hill location offers a 360 degree view of Thimphu.

It was exhilarating to look at the statue of Lord Buddha.Though,it was raining,still could feel at peace just looking at the statue.
