Stay was quite comfortable. Minor issues with food. Food was not as per Indian taste. Waiting time was also bit more.
Hotel rooms are quite big and have good features like heater, sitting space, kitchen.
It seems that food is an issue in entire Bhutan except Phuentsholing. So we can accept the limitations on hotels.

Bhutan Suites is located near Changangkha Temple (not close to downtown). The area is not particularly walkable, however, our driver took us wherever we need to be, so this wasn't an issue.
Rooms are huge and spacious - with a separate living room, kitchen and large bedroom. There is a heater is both rooms, and the air conditioning worked well. It's very quiet here. There is a safe in the room, but too small to be of much use. Treated water is provided in the room.
Meals are served in the dining room. They're all vegetarian only -- well prepared and a good variety of dishes. Staff were friendly and efficient.
We had nice views from our room across the valley.

I stayed here for nine nights on a business trip to Thimphu and it was an ideal location. Great views across the city and a quiet but accessible location. The suites are very spacious, and the cafe downstairs was great for breakfast and an evening meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the Changangkha Llakhang so very handy for a short walk to see the dawn before breakfast!

Central hotel but out of the way with good views. Walkable to central Thimphu but there is no real downtown
Rooms are large with kitchen and separate bedroom and sitting areas, as well as balcony
Restaurant was good and offered lots of food for breakfast and dinner
Wifi kind of slow
Noisy at night with dogs barking all night but I think that is the same everywhere in town

This is a lovely location in Thimpu. The rooms very spacious with a nice chilled cafe space with wifi - with lovely ginger tea and biscuits. The food served int eh restaurant is vegetarian and was the best we got in all our time in bhutan. Homemade. A 10 minute walk down to the main street in Thimpu. But as with all of Bhutan bring ear plugs stray dogs bark though out the night and its a nightmare!! Would recommend it.

This is a great midrange hotel with friendly staff, delicious food and spacious rooms. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of power sockets to charge your cameras and phones. There is even a small kitchen in each room with a microwave and cutlery. The bathrooms are clean and have a shower cubicle containing shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast and supper is brilliant. Everything is home made and fresh. We asked for a Bhutanese breakfast instead of a western style one and the staff were more than happy to oblige.
