Great place for staying when you are stopping near Lusaka. It's about 15k from Lusaka centre and time to drive in depends on time of day, Lusaka traffic is doubling daily! But if you don't need to be commuting in at rush hour, this is a fine place to stay. Good value price for a lodge. Nice rooms, clean, good showers! Lovely staff, everyone really helpful and always cheerful. Good breakfast included. Swimming pool and gym a real bonus. Pleasant grounds with plenty of greenery. Thoroughly recommend it. If I had to be picky, I used 3 different rooms over a 2 week period and 2 of them had beds that were quite hard, but it wouldn't stop me returning

Situated about 200 metres off Kafue Road, the thatched roof cottages of this lodge are comfortable and spacious, each with ensuite bathroom. Peaceful, lovely gardens, ideal for campers, with swimming pool, volleyball court and trampoline. Secure location. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Excellent laundry service. Restaurant provides snacks such as toasted sandwiches and basic, but well cooked and presented a la carte meals. Owners and staff are genuinely friendly, professional and helpful. Visitors can take advantage, for a small fee, of a very well equipped gym with 25m heated pool in the grounds of the lodge. The Lilayi Elephant Orphanage is nearby. Highly recommended, especially if you have your own transport.

Room Tip: No tip - All rooms are very similar.

Big, clean rooms - mine had an enormous bathtub, and lots of hot water.

There's a good restaurant/bar here, and a decent-sized gym. Staff are friendly and professional.

Very convenient for Chilanga, but not for Lusaka city itself.
