I've stayed in the Master Bedroom in Bazinga House together with my wife for several months now. Ntinda is one of the nicest, vibrant suburbs in Kampla, and Ministers Village is very safe and home mainly to local middle-class and/or some expats. All required amenities, like supermarkets, night life etc are within a 10min walking distance and still Bazinga House is situated in a nice quiet area. Bodas are available just outside the yard, and the bus stand is 200 meters up the road.
Bazinga House is very nice as it's safe (bars on all windows plus security guard) and most the neighbors are families, all very friendly and welcoming to new neighbors. The house is excellently equipped and very comfortable (and trust me I've seen many places in Kampala. It totally stands out!). The living room has many comfortable couches, lounge chairs as well as a dining room table, TV with satellite reception, a water dispenser etc etc. The kitchen has all the equipment one requires, including - which is quite unusual in Kampala, and so great to have - a washing machine besides stove, oven, fridge, coffee machine, microwave etc. There's a little garden which is well suited for a barbecue and generally entertaining people and/or simply to hang out the washing.
All bedrooms are very nice, including comfortable beds with mosquito nets, as well as desks and wardrobes. The level of comfort offered in the master bedroom will only be topped by very few 5-star hotels in Kampala, else no chance! A cleaner comes twice a week and does a great job of keeping the place tidy and shiny. And importantly, the landlords Angella and Renske are fantastic. They are really nice and always helpful, and they immediately react to solve any question/need you may have. Looking for a comfortable stay in this area of Kampala, then this is the place!
