The combination of choice of colours and poor illumination is absolutely depressing. Not a happy place at all.

Day of departure credit cards couldn't be processed. No apologies. The manager offered me transport to the airport to go pick up cash from the ATM. He didn't look like he felt there was anything wrong on their side. Just wanted his bill settled.

Never again!

This is a very affordable friendly stop in a city we really enjoyed way beyond expectations. Lovely clean swimming pools. We loved the beach in front of the hotel with the little beach bars and friendly vendors. Would love to return.

Average place to stay. I booked a room at short notice. The guy in reception was about as friendly as a bear with a sore tooth. But efficient I guess. My room was on a main road so traffic noise was extensive throughout the night.

The room was clean and presentable. The air conditioning was good and the wifi was average for Dakar. Good enough to get online but not enough bandwidth for Skype. The shower was small but worked well and lots of hot water. Clean and tidy. The flat screen TV had a good reception.

Breakfast on the top floor overlooking the ocean was as expected. Adequate and enough choice. Really nice pastries.

I arrived back at my room at 4pm after an early start. The room had not been made which was hugely disappointing!

To summarise, reasonable value for money. I got what I paid for.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Rooms a bit used as well as the bathroom. Breakfast very varied though with everything you need and a nice view at the sea.

Internet not great nor the tv.

Right next door to a few restaurants and libanese fast food. Sliding doors do not close well.

Amazing experience at Le Virage which is just 5minutes drive from Leopold Int'l Airport. That for any traveler especially on a business mission is a big plus yet without compromising the ability to dip your feet in the cool waters of the great Atlantic ocean
The ocean view is fantastic from the rooms, restaurant upstairs and even from the publicly accessible beach where water sports lovers have field days as long as the sun is up there.
Given that French is the official language in Senegal, it is not surprising to find a good number of people are not fluent in English but at this hotel, that is not a concern for an English speaker at least at the reception.
Breakfast could be better with more varieties and ventilation in some rooms improved to ensure maximum aeration.

Room Tip: Suites down stairs offer a fantastic view to the pool and beach
