“Enjoyable evening”

Had an enjoyable evening here with some business friends. My main meal’s choice was the Capitaine (fish) with white rice and vegetables. Really good choice. My friends all had steaks. The difference between raw, medium and well done, was not very noticable, but I did not hear any other complaints. The place is quite, service ok, and the restaurant is securely situated on the 1st floor.

Absolute top Class food in fancy environment, despite rough hood.
Great service, fresh and clean and no aftermaths... ;-)

Then interior design is very Western European with Danish design style furniture and American pictures on the walls. Some black and white photos of Malians, two modernist china hippos and a nicely lit collection of ostrich eggs are added to give some African touch. Over all the setting is very clean, bright and cosy. The service is swift, the food very good and the experience classy.
An example; my friend ordered duck breast, medium/rare. She got it well done, and when pointing this out to the waiter she got a new portion perfectly made, with a smile and no fuss. THAT, to me is a sign as good as any of a god restaurant...
Myself, I ordered a three course dinner, with frogs legs and beef in peppers sauce and everything was pretty much delicious.
Make sure you don't miss out on the Coffee or tea combo dessert, a mouth watering mix of small sweet treats such as chocolate mousse, coco pannacotta,mini-meringue with ice/cream and a beautifully colored fruit smoothie, all served in small jars on a plate. By far the second best dessert in Bamako, after the outrageously delicious Pavlova at Comme Chez Soi.
All in all this, too me, is the European style restaurant to beat in town. Compared to 365, Le Loft for instance is way behind. And the prices are surprisingly humane too... I have to say that I am impressed by 365. This a top notch expericence in Bamako and very very good value for money. Kudos!

Enjoyed my evening with good food and wines. Had a bit of difficulty given that I don't speak French but then that can happen in most places in Mali.
The food was good and service was nice too though a bit slow for my liking.

Having said this I would recommend this restaurant for a nice evening meal.
