Arrived to modern clean building. Staff at reception friendly and quick to respond. Check in was smooth. Rooms a little on small side but huge extra long kingsize bed. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. No bath tub but very large shower closet with equally large rain shower head and moveable smaller head attached to wall
Now improvements- wifi erratic and could not connect to my laptop. I was told room service would take an hr or more so better to eat from resturant. Oxtail was generous but bland. I accidentaly misplaced my room card key and even though staff friendly took almost 20 mins at reception ti get a new one. Breakfast buffet was rather limited.
For these reasons I give 3 star. Felt like staff need specific formal training on hotel management beyond being friendly and respectful

We love traveling to different countries and as part of our months trip to Africa, we thought it would be interesting to drive to Lesotho for 2 nights.
After some research we picked the Mpilo hotel and we definitely made the right choice. This hotel is by far the best Maseru has to offer. New and modern rooms. The breakfast was excellent.
The location is perfect and only about 0.5km from the centre of town.
We visited Kick4Life for dinner, which is a great choice but the Mpilo is head and shoulders above the competition.

Room Tip: All good rooms

The hotel is conveniently located close to the business district in Maseru. Staff members were generally very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a good variety of quality food items available. I was satisfied with the condition of my room but the wifi service wasn’t sufficient - had poor or no signal in my room

I rate a great hotel mainly for its people. Mpilo has super nice staff from reception to the roof restaurant. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Go and visit the bar at night for a good drink. I love it !

Room Tip: Ask for a view to the golf course. You will not regret it.

It’s a nice hotel not far from city center in a very nice place.

The hotel has the right conditions, with good service and ok rooms. The bar service is also quite comfortable.

Staff is super helpful.
Dinner in the last floor was the only major flaw there, with food being quite bad.
