A slightly older style hotel but that means you have bigger rooms which is good. Good value and we would stat again if visiting Tanger. It was as central as you could hope for in a spread out city with nice views oer the water.More

Taking safety measures
I was always checking on booking websites this hotel, but never stayed, usually i used apartments for rent while in Tangier. Same this time, but the owner of the apartment didn't appeared so i had to find other solution to spent one night - and then i remembered Rembrandt hotel, and just get there and took a simple double room for me and my friend to spent a night.
Room was very simply, but clean, window on the main road, but i didn't felt like its too noisy. Shower was ok, little low pressure of hot water, probably because of the late night hour.
This 50's - 3*** hotel has a nice bar with inner garden and pool with view of Tangier bay.
Nice place to spent few nights while staying in Tangier, a the location is fantastic. Center of the new town.

Hotel is well located near Tangier Medina. It's also a walking distance from the beach. Banks, currency exchange, mobile operators, both Orange and Maroc Telecom, restaurants and other services close to the doors.
Room - and the hotel itself - seemed quite outdated and shabby although functional and very clean. Room and bathroom are really wide. No safebox, neither fridge available. Rooms are opened by ordinary key which is supposed to be left on the balcony when you are out. Old but gold. Free wifi with good signal.
Staff is really welcoming and nice. Breakfast is good enough. I had no other meals other than the breakfast. One of the reason was value of the menu, that I found a bit pricey.
In fact the hotel holds an evening party at the bar on ground level that can go through the night ahead. So if you are a light sleeper ask for higher floors or rooms opposite to the bar.
All in all it is a good value for money if you plan a short stay in Tangier or if you want to be centrally located.

This is a very nice hotel. We stayed one night but would have been happy to stay longer. It's in a good location on the main boulevard. Easy to walk to places of interest or pick up a taxi if needed. We had a comfortable room with an enormous bed and a good bathroom. An added bonus is that it has a very nice pool with a bar in the evenings. We were not at all disturbed by noise as some other reviewers were - we didn't hear anything in our room. Excellent breakfast and friendly helpful staff. Extremely good value for money.

Clean hotel with great breakfast and good beds - the only problem is that you will not be able to sleep in them because of the unbelievable noise. This is not traffic- this is intentionally caused by the hotel by hosting a disco party around its pool until nearly 3 am - every night! I was stunned there are no laws to prevent this - neighbours have to get up and go to work every day with this?? If you like to party, this is the hotel for you. If you're a business traveller like me - stay away!

Hotel Rembrandt is located within easy walking distance to the Casbah. Our room was modest but clean on the 5th floor facing the sea. There was no safe & no other facilities. I like to sleep with a window open but this was not possible due to noise. The bar on ground level was very noisy every evening until 5am. Disrespectful of residents. Even my partner who is a heavy sleeper complained of the noise. Neither of us slept very well during our stay here.
