I have been travelling to Rabat for the past 2 years on business and this has been the best in terms of price vs comfort.
Location: Next to the train station ( walking distance), and there are a lot of "petit taxis" passing, so you will not have a problem getting transportation. It is a known hotel, so the taxis will understand where you need to go, avoiding being lost. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby if you want to get food. However, the area is dark at night, which might make some people uncomfortable.
Restaurant: The hotel has a limited room service that is not overpriced, and the food usually arrives in warm and in time. The hotel has a restaurant on the 6th floor now with a great view of Rabat, the food is OK, but when they have big tours they only have buffets for 200DH (about 20 euros) which is overpriced in my book for what it is. Breakfast is nothing special. The bar is now on the terrace as well, a great improvement from the previous bar. Mini bar is available at no cost :-) it has usually water and soda.
The room is comfortable, clean, has a bathtub, water pressure and temperature is good, they give you clean robes and toiletries. On the downside TV channels are limited
The staff is nice and polite, and there is only one small elevatorMore
