This place was among those recommended in the usual travel guides (LP & RG). What a disappointment!!! The toilets are smelly, the towels and sheets not clean, the walls around the beds filthy.... try your luck elsewhere. Note: this was my third time in Meknes, always staying at hotels around the same price range; this has been the worst by far.

excellent location in ville nouveau, right by the railway station, shops, and restaurants. its basic but has everything you need. I don't recommend the breakfast - it was very overpriced and there are lots of places nearby. wifi

Relied heavily upon Tripadvisor for making arrangements for trip. Do not understand why this hotel is rated third of hotels in Meknes. It might be good as a museum or movie set but not only is the building old and not modernized, perhaps a plus, but the bedding is terrible. Appears that the bedding (mattresses, pillows, pillow cases, sheets and covers) are from 1937 or perhaps the sixties. Found pillow case disturbingly stained. Perhaps it had been washed but the bedding was repellent. Would advise others to avoid this place unless you know what you are getting. Yes, it it nice to see the original telephone switchboard with plugs from the 1930s and it is interesting that so little has been updated, but the bedding needs replacement. Mattress is bad and pillows are like tortillas--- hard, flat and made of who knows what. They do have Wifi but no air conditioning and no elevators. Specified matrimonial bed for two when making reservation but found them assigning a room with three single beds. This place was a major disappointment and we moved to another hotel. Plus is location perhaps six minute walk from train station. Liked Meknes as a city.

Room Tip: there probaby is no good room

Hotel is within walking distance of the train station. It has spacious rooms. Breakfast was average compared to what I had in other Moroccan hotels. Wifi worked well in my room as well. Only negative is you need a taxi to get to the imperial city part of Meknes.
