This is indeed an amazing property with very unique rooms. However, perhaps the choice to keep it as authentic as possible, is the drawback in terms of ameneties and comfort. Rooms are rather dark. Not enough outlets and convinent places to put laggague; our shower flooded everytime we used it; no place to put any toilettries in the bathroom etc. . Overall, the "shabby chic" ambience was a bit too cluttered and much, I though. Also, in our three nights there, a lack of hands on management was aparent. Front desk person was often absent. My pick up ride from the airport came more than an hour late and after several calls.
I would be a lot more forgiving, had it not been so expensive. Overall it felt like an overpriced Bed and Breakfast.

We celebrated my mother's birthday in Marrakech and were thrilled with Dar Darma. It is a jewel amongst the Riads. Located in the Medina in a quiet narrow alley, one is only a few steps away from the main square, markets and hustle and bustle, but at the same time in an oasis of peace. The suites are furnished with Moroccan furniture and handicrafts, which skillfully mixes with Italian design. Different levels and inner courtyards convey the feeling of living in a private house, where one is lovingly cared for and pampered by the staff.
The various terraces offer a wonderful view over the old town to the Atlas mountains We enjoyed our generous breakfast and cafe breaks there.Very relaxing moments accompanied by birds and beautiful flowers.
The staff spoiled us with champagne and fresh cake on my mother's birthday and recommended excellent restaurants with fantastic Moroccan cuisine.
Dal Darma is a charming hideaway and we felt gifted to stay there and will certainly come back

Room Tip: all suites are very special, tasteful furnished and quite

This Riad is brilliant. The decoration is sophisticated and elegant, with a very close eye on detail and colour. it was like staying in the pages of Elle deco.

The place is super quiet and very well located (walking distance to the souks and main areas of interest. The rooms are Amazing and super comfortable. the public areas are also lovely and great to read or hang out in.

The roof Terrace is the place to be for dinner, or for sun-downers with the call to Pray Drifting over the air was magical. Its also great for breakfast each morning, which is all prepared by the lovely cook. fresh juices, tasty pastries and eggs. oh and very strong coffee. There is also a great Lap pool on the roof and a dip pool which i used on a very hot day and was very welcome.

A Special Shout out to Said who was super helpful the whole time i was there, from organising taxis to going out of his way to get me a can of coke on my first night there :) he was great and a brilliant addition to the Dar Darma

In my opinion a fairy tale riad. The staff are all great!Willing to arrange and prefer our excursions around.Rooms clean every day.A nice breakfast on the terrace or anywhere you want in the Riad's place.Beautiful places to relax even if you don't want to go out in the afternoon...The big fireplace, mint tea and mood of Moroccan music keep you companions in the rainy afternoons...A great thank you to Said for his help whatever we ask for, he was very helpful, always beside us with a big smile and neighborliness!miss this place!!!!
