Loved it, loved it, loved it... What a place... it was truly beautul and that girl Fatima can cook... We had a Morrocan salad followed by the most stunning lamb and artichoke tajine... We were dining in the beautiful central courtyard and dined on our own... we really enjoyed it. A little pricey for the city, but, we dont regret our visit for a single second... Fab!

I have never written a review before but wanted to comment on what a beautiful riad this is. We had never been to Marrakech before - the location is great, a 10min walk to the main square and it feels very safe. Everyone who worked in the riad was extremely polite. We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the suite which was huge and magnificent.
Breakfast was lovely, fresh omelettes, crepes and lots of different breads with homemade jams.
We ate in the riad on our second night, again the food was good (maybe a little more chicken needed in the tagine!)
We had a lovely stay at Riad 72 and would recommend it to others.

We planned a long weekend to enjoy Marrakesh for the first time. The Riad 72 proved to be one of the highlights of our 4 days. The tranquility along with the excellent position in the town gave us the opportunity to mix the excitement of the Souk with the historical and cultural sites and allow us to retreat whenever we wanted.
Fathuma's home cooking was the equal of the most expensive restaurants we tried (Dar Zellig and Le Foundouk) and spending an evening with Rashid looking after you with the greatest attention to detail made staying in for dinner a joy.
We stayed in the Karma suite and took every advantage of having our breakfast on the terrace, where we were also well looked after by a young lady whose name escapes us.
All in all a very enjoyable time made exellent by great staff.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay ay Riad 72. It is a beautiful riad with elegant rooms and the most helpful staff, especially Rashid and the brilliant cook, Fatima. Our room was split onto two levels and was gorgeous with a huge bathroom. We also had easy access to the roof terrace which is a real highlight - as the riad only has 4 rooms it was never busy and watching the sun set every night in the comfortable seating area with a drink in hand will be one of our fondest memories. We ate at the riad on the first night and found Fatima's cooking and the intimate atmosphere just perfect. On the following 2 nights Rashid subtly persuaded us to cancel reservations we had made based on our review of the guidebook and we had 2 wonderful meals as a result - he knows his stuff! Nothing was too much trouble for all of the staff and we would recommend the riad without any hesitation at all. Marrakech and Riad 72 exceeded all our expectations.

Riad 72 plays its role on the multicultural contemporary Marrakech life.
A traditional riad with a touch of some international interior design pieces mixed with Moroccan average quality crafts, it's a good setting for guests looking for some sort of exotic place to stay in the Medina area.
In my opinion, the true value of Riad 72 it's his team of friendly Moroccan members leaded by Emanuella, an Italian expat.
Staying for seven nights as a single guest, I could enjoy the company of Rachid and Aziz in particular, both of them always available to chat or to help.
