This is the souk of Morocco. To navigate it you need either a guide or a map to get you to a particular destination.

There is a store with fixed pricing which had a large selection of everything you can imagine. Ask the locals.

WHAT a place - it's like everything and nothing that I've ever experienced. The first thing you notice are the sounds of the place, drums, instruments of all kinds, bells, shouting, haggling - what a buzz. I would have enjoyed it much more if I'd have gone with someone likeminded. Hubby is a bit reserved and didn't enjoy the forcefulness of the place, me I LOVED all the haggling, bartering and bantering with the stall holders, like a good old English market with spice :D Can't add anything that hasn't already been said, the other reviews sum it up perfectly. Better for ladies to take a wrap/shawl as shoulders/cleavage attract the wrong attention. Alcohol only available on upper terraces (Kozy Bar lovely).

Worth allowing plenty of time to explore. Don't worry about getting lost - just ask and the people will be very helpful

this is the real adventure to experience during the journey. Be ready to be cool and calm while you are being followed and haggling is guess the part of their culture.
