Albakech House...so good I stayed here twice in the one trip! On arrival, the Albakech was a welcoming and relaxed location. Rooms were beautifully decorated, the lobby was lovely and the pool a pleasure. Staff were friendly and breakfast was varied, plentiful and good. My three night stay turned into four due to an unexpected illness and the owner Adam was more than helpful, arranging a local doctor and accompanying me to the nearby pharmacy. Took the stress out of it all. I travelled round Morocco a bit after staying here and during the trip, I looked forward to ending my travels back at the Albakech, enjoying the pool! Loved it. Highly recommend it. Bonus was the large mall down the road....which sold cold beer! wifi was excellent.

Room Tip: By default, I ended up staying in three rooms, across two visits. All were excellent. Loved the room with the pool views.

A big thank you to Adam and his superb team once again for another fantastic stay at this wonderful riad. Alba Kech is like a home from home, each time we visit we are made so welcome and looked after so well. Nothing is too much for the staff at Alba Kech, they really are such a great team. We are already planning our return visit for the end of the year. Thank you again for a peaceful and memorable stay.

Just returned from our seventh visit to Marrakech and our second visit to this lovely hotel. With just 19 rooms, the Albakesh provides a quiet base from which to explore the hustle and bustle of the nearby town centre and surrounding attractions. The Scottish owner (Adam) and his staff provide fantastic service- nothing is too much trouble for them. We were offered free mint tea every day, provided with a free late check out and when our flight time was unexpectedly brought forward, Adam quickly arranged a car to take us to the airport. The hotel is located just 15 mins by taxi from the airport and town centre and has a large supermarket across the road where you can purchase alcohol and snacks - the staff will even keep your beer in the fridge to keep it cold until you need it! A generous breakfast is provided (fresh pastries, bread, yoghurt, fruit and eggs) and you can purchase lunch (sandwiches/chips) to eat by the pool. Our room (18) was a very generous size and we had a huge balcony. The fixtures are a little tired but that's more than made up for by the quality of the service and the whole ambience of this lovely Moroccan hotel (with a touch of Scotland!) We'll be back as soon as we can!

Albakesh house is fantastic it is like a home from Home. Adam is great he can advise you on best places to go to. The staff are very good too they will get you anything you need. Also nothing is a bother to Adam he offers to help in any way he can. There is a shopping centre across the road that caters to all your needs. If you are going to Marrakech you will have a fantastic stay at albakesh house.

Room Tip: Pool view rooms are good

Just returned from 5 days in Marrakech and, having stayed in several riads in different locations, I have to say that the Albakech House was by far the most attractive and comfortable I have ever stayed in. Not only was it a fantastic riad but the the owner, Adam, and his wonderful staff made it an extra special experience. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from giving us a lovely breakfast when we arrived( although it was way past breakfast time) to personally walking round the pool to ask if we needed anything (like a nice cold beer)! Every night he recommended a different restaurant for us to try and made the reservation for us and booked taxis to take us and pick us up if needed. Nice shopping mall just across the road with a huge Carrfour and lots of really nice shops selling most things. A quick taxi trip up to the square had to be done but with temperatures of 41c probably best to go when it it's cooled down a bit, but plenty of cafes there to enjoy a cooling drink and watch the world go by. A big thank you to Adam and his team, we'll see you again.
