I stayed here as a solo female traveller which for some is intimidating in Marrakech. Very close to the main square and to the souks, however I would recomend getting directions from one of the wheelbarrow men for a small fee. The staff were very welcoming and relaxed. Helping me to find my way around with multiple maps and advise whenever I needed it. Lovely cool room to counter the warm day out in the souks and great wetroom bathroom. Really chic riad with only five rooms which made for a lovely relaxed intimate couple of days at the end of a 10 day morroco trip. Breakfast on the terrace was hearty and delicious. Would definitely reccomend this place to couples as it has a romantic setting. The hotel is located down a small narrow road so would not reccomned female travellers to return late at night alone.

The hotel is located just three streets away from the main square. Although there's a lot of noise and craziness in the streets, inside the Riad is really calm and silent.
If it is the first time you are in Marrakech, you might find it hard to get there (there are no signs indicating where the hotel is). When you get to the street don't expect to see any big sign, but just a small name of the riad on the door.
The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is really good!!
Our room was big and very clean. The only bad thing was the bathroom... every time we flushed the toilet, the water pipes did a lot of noise! Also the shower was kind of old.
In general, very good place with good staff and great location (if you want to stay in old Marrakech!).

The Riad's location is perfect, very near to Jemaa el-Fnaa and is very easy to find. The place is lovely and cozy even if the weather was very cold when we visited in January. We stayed in the room upstair and it came with a portable heater which helped us went through the cold nights very well but the thing is the room has no lock! Staffs told us it's safe in here so please don't worry so I guess there's no other option but to trust them. The breakfast was okay but the coffee was cold and didn't help warming us up much with the morning chill. The one thing we found very disturbing is the hot water because it always ran out half way through the shower. We asked the staff if we could use another room for shower in this case and they let us did so but the it turned out to be worse with no hot water at all. There was no way to fix this so we ended up taking very fast showers throughout the stay.

Stayed 4 nights in Middle of Jan, there were two of us and we stayed in upstairs room.
All i can say is that that room was cleaned an was cleaned every day.
heater did work for us and we did need it as it got very cold at night.
true no key for rooms but as the front Riad door is always locked I considered it secure enough and with just 4 rooms i just took the risk that other guests would know which room was theirs and stayed out of other rooms.
hot water definitely a problem in our room meaning not enough of it. with low temp it really was a necessity. towels also not replaced just folded up and damp towels with no hot water and low temp outside not a good combination.
breakfast was adequate but freezing as the courtyard got very cold by morning and not heated, consequently we had to eat in overcoats.

do not recommend staying in winter but in summer i am sure it would be much more comfortable.

8,9 hotel rating for Riad Hidden, Marrakesh in trip adviser (which I believed) is totally rediculous. We spent 4 nights here in December 2014 during our 2 week trip across Morocco. Unfortunately, this is the hotel we spent most of our nights with and it has been the worst hotel we've ever stayed in.
That's really ashamed because the place itself is fundamentally good, a good sized room in a good riad that is situated in a good location, near Jemaa el-Fnaa square. However, the way they operate this place is so unprofessional and causing a lot of confusion.
It seems to me like the place was abandoned by whoever started the business and left it to be run by total amateurs. I can't think of anything I like about this hotel during our stay.

First of all, there is no key given for the room. The only staff who's always around looks like he's just been waken up everytime we called him, told us it's ok to leave our room unlock. He had tried helping us on many occasions though but the way things work there are really unorganized.

The breakfast quality is bad. The shower is a big joke as the hot water ALWAYS run out half way through the shower, no matter how quick you try to have it.
The heater was broken and the room was always cold. The electricity was randomly on and off during our stay.
There is a small pantry within the room with a broken refrigerator, kitchen sink, hood, coffee cups, even sugar but no kettle. There are 3 of us in the room but they only provide 2 towels/day.
We asked them to do the laundry on the 1st day we arrived and it took them 3 days to return it. We even saw them hung our wet clothes in the kitchen where the prepared the breakfast.
When we asked how much it cost for the laundry the staff told us some rediculous price but when we asked him to show the itemized laundry bill he just reduced the price into half.
This has been a total nightmare spending 4 nights in this hotel and I'm really regret booking this place.
