“Fantastic apartment”
Reviewed 13 July 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Four of us stayed in this apartment for a week in June. It is well equipped and maintained and has a lovely large lounge/dining room with an amazing view - especially at night. The apartment was nice and quiet and a great retreat away from the crazy chaos of the city centre. It was great to relax under a shady tree by the pool after a long hot day of sightseeing. The owner of the apartment was very helpful and phoned us a couple of times to make sure we were okay and advise us on various things. We had a couple of minor problems which he sorted straight away. The security guards for the complex were really friendly and we felt very safe knowing they were there 24/7. Although Marrakech is a busy, chaotic place and the roads are manic to drive on, we found it a fascinating place. We loved visiting the incredible tanneries, the crazy medina, the peaceful Jardin Majorelle, the beautiful palaces and tombs, the quiet Atlas mountains and the cosmopolitan Essaouira on the coast. Meals out were generally good but our favourite was Cafe Arabe which was friendly and relaxing and a quiet place to chill after the noise and chaos of the medina. As well as excellent cuisine, we could also enjoy a bottle of wine there which was very difficult to get anywhere else during Ramadan. I highly recommend this apartment as a great base for visiting the sites in and around Marrakech.
