We stayed in Marrakech for 4 nights and we ate at Naranj for 3 of them! The food was excellent and stood up against any of the huge number of restaurants in our home city of Toronto.

Everything we ordered was well presented and very tasty. The mezze plates are great to share and although every dish we ordered was very good the standouts for us were the beef shawarma and the aubergine with minced meat and fried pitta dough - a kind of deconstructed moussaka. It was one of the best tasting dishes I have eaten in a long time.

Friendly service and a nice terrace if you book ahead or arrive a little early. No alcohol.

Highly recommended.

My brother and I are a tough crowd to please !! Lol. Our expectations are rather high and we were fortunate enough to have a Portuguese father who cooked the most delicious food and a Lebanese mother that cooks food that people talk about for years!! and beg for!! So...... we were pleasantly surprised when we found this restaurant due to recommendations from fellow TripAdvisors. The food was delicious, tasty, fresh, the staff were attentive, very courteous and friendly and I would recommend that you make a booking in advance!! The mixed mezze starter consisting of meat and falafel is a MUST!!!!!!! It’s a hit!! The pita chips are also yummy!

The lunch menu is delicious too and I would recommend it to any traveler worried about getting an upset tummy due to dodgy food!!! We went several times and we never felt ill!!! The owner is really friendly and goes out of his way to accommodate you!!!!

A fantastic restaurant you have to try while in Marrakesh. Just be sure you have a reservation as the secret is out. Make sure you also sit on the terrace to enjoy the breeze and a break from the bustle of the street.

We visited the restaurant for lunch.
The food was delicious! It has some Lebanese touch. We liked the service too: fast and friendly. Prices are moderate.
Highly recommend this place.

Excellent idea to try some Lebanese food in the Medina if you need some change from the Tajines but not yet desperate for a Pizza either. Central location near Jeema El Fna. There is a nice Roof top terrace and service is friendly. Mezze plate was super, the lamb shank and Showarma we tried were very good and tasty.
It is best to reserve in advance.
