“Nice evening ”

Sahara Tours International

Used these guys for airport transfers with no issues at all, the rep called at our hotel next day & tried to give us the hard sell, me and the Mrs only wanted the evening camel ride with bbq, after a lot of haggling got it down to £ 20 each so didn’t expect much for that, what a great time as over 2 hrs going through a eucalyptus forest & scrub we arrived back to a local meal, salad & bread starter, then bbq then a fab tagine washed down with cola or water, guides were so genuine & fun, would highly recommend.

We had booked a transfer from the airport to our hotel when we landed we met Ismail at the airport who introduced us to the driver and told us he would come and meet us at the hotel the next morning to book excursions. We met with Ismail he spoke about the excursions very briefly and asked us to book the ones we were interested in, we booked the hammam, Marrakech Express, Buggy and Paradise Valley. Ismail then wrote out slips of each excursion with the time we would be picked up from the hotel, they were never on time. 1) The Hammam was good, the place they take you to is a very small and local but be prepared for some rough scrubbing oh and take spare underwear.
2) Marrakech Express- my husband was feeling unwell that morning so we called Ismail to see if we could change the day, he was very unhelpful and said he was sleeping and he couldn't help us. We asked for a refund he said no sorry. We didn't want to lose our money so we went along, our guide Mustafa was brilliant he had so much knowledge and made the trip very pleasant. Be prepared for a long day as the drive from Agadir to Marrakech is 3 hours and then alot of walking through out the day.
3) Buggy- this was good we had good fun and got very muddy the only let down was we was told we would go round the villages but we never. Don't expect to see anything but sand sheep and trees.
4) Paradise Valley- we had Mustafa as our tour guide again he was very good, but as it was raining we couldn't see the whole valley as walking down would of been very dangerous. Overall the experience was good if you have Mustafa as your your guide he is brilliant his english is great and he will ensure you enjoy yourself without getting ripped off. Most importantly make sure you haggle the price with Sahara Tours as they start off very high.

We pre booked a day excursion to Taroudant from Agadir. We were picked up close to our apartment in a comfortable minibus. We stopped on the way to Taroudant to meet and photo a goat herd in the argon trees. We later stopped to see argan oil being extracted at a co operative run by local women where various oils and honeys could be purchased. The souq was wonderful at Taroudant and Mustapha, our guide, helped to buy and carry some of our purchases. We continued to Tiout, a berber village where we had a delicious 4 course lunch in a very lively and attractive restaurant and so much fun. We were the taken by an official guide in a flowing brilliant blue jelouba through a lush green palmeraie. With birds singing and water flowing beside the paths it was close to paradise. We returned to Agadir by a different route making for more interest. Our guide, Mustapha and the driver on 10th December, 2017 were excellent. We had booked on a french site expecting only french commentary. Mustapha was conversing with the driver in berber, switching to moroccan arabic for one guest, switching to french for other guests and then to english for me. What a guy! What a fantastic service and so helpful and informative. It was one of the best days out ever and I can really recommend it.
