A resident of Indiana I am embarrassed by the Potawatomi Inn at Pokagon State Park. I always book rooms in the original building that is over 80 years old. It is well designed with a great deal of character. The television was a new flat screen of ample size the room was good size. The temperature control was no existent, we were advised to open the window on a 10 degree night to get relief. I expect small bathrooms in a building of that age but I also expect it to function. The shower was not usable because of wild fluctuations in pressure and temperature. The room was not completely furnished, no bedside table.
The food served was real embarrassment. The buffet food was cold and tasteless at all three meals. Tasteless is a polite word, it was bad.
We had fresh snow and everyone really had fun on the toboggan run which is refrigerated to make it more dependable. The park was beautiful every one had a great time. I only wish that they would pay attention to detail and make our holiday even more enjoyable.
