This is a fantastic market place for everything Asian. You find the freshest fish, produce, and soy products in their cases. I like being adventurous and try something new everytime and am never disappointed.

If you want an incredible meal go to the food court. Fresh sushi, bubble teas, udon, tempura, and everything else is sold from different kitchens. I love stopping at the udon and getting a nice broth and then going to the tempura country territory and getting shrimp and lotus root. Phenomenal food at a quick food mall.

Typical Japanese market experience common throughout the world with a few twists. If you’re doing the food court be prepared for an absolutely filthy place that you have to almost fight to claim. We were here on a Saturday early evening. Totally pandemonium with little organization to be had in food court. And did I mention the filth? When I say the word “filth” I don’t just mean dirty. I mean food eating services that haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Helpful tip: bring sanitary wipes. Bathrooms, at least on the men’s side, forget touching ANY surface whatsoever.

Now the good: wide selection of authentic foods made well. Just don’t look too closely where you sit.

Typical Asian supermarket that is found throughout Japan. Was a nice break from the regular 7-11 and Walgreens shopping. Fresh Japanese veggies and fruits were a pleasant surprise! Small food court is awesome, serving great Japanese food. I came by more than a few times during my recent business trip. Great option for grocery shopping and food in the area.

Mitsuwa is a very large conglomerations of boutique-like stores and a large Japanese grocery store. It's fun to browse the aisles and each small island of products. Included is a food court with seven or so kiosks were you can order various kinds of food like tempura, soups, and sushi. Add to that an excellent smoothie/crepe place, cosmetics, a book/stationery store, DVDs, cellphones, sake store and so forth.

We went on Sunday evening. The store was pretty empty. Prices are high for almost everything. Selection is limited.
