We spent 3 nights at Cabins by the Joe enjoying the area. Great place to stay to enjoy the area. Nice clean cabins and the hosts were great! Jodi was so easy to work with when reserving. Would definitely stay here again. Very reasonable.

This was the second time I've stayed in these cabins, the first was last year. The cabins are clean and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable. They are set up with everything you need, cookware, plates, utensils, etc. The larger cabins are great for a family or two couples to share.
The staff is very helpful and accommodating. We knew that we wanted the boasted chicken from the nearby service for dinner, but we planned on being out riding ATVs past closing time. Not a problem because the staff dropped off our dinner and left it in the fridge! What great service!
Cute cabins right on the river at a decent price with a helpful staff, what more could you ask for?
The weekend we were there the owners stopped by for a visit and ensured we were enjoying ourselves. With this combination I'll be back many more times.

Room Tip: Bring your own firewood.

My wife and I stayed here in August 2014 while bike touring on the Bitterroot 300K Loop. If staying in Avery, ID this is the place! We stayed in cabin #1 which had a kitchen, an upstairs with a bedroom and a small sitting area with a TV. But the best was the powerful air conditioning that we required after 8 hours on the bike and temps in the 90s by the time we finished. All the cabins have an unobstructed view across the seldom used road to the river. We slept very soundly. Jody was super helpful in booking the cabin and providing some local info. We also ate at the Chicken Joes which is right in the cabin/RV park. After a long day, it was so nice to have a good meal of broasted chicken available right near our cabin. The cabin was literally on the bike trail so when we started in the morning we were already exactly where we needed to be.

We happened upon on this while on a short time out as we passed Avery,Id. This is a very small town without much in amenities. We were lucky enough to find someone @ the little drive-in @ the RV park who was getting ready to leave. Actual owners live Seattle area(by phone # on pamphlet.) They had 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom units. We took 1 bedroom w/ queen bed, tub(jetted),shower, micro and ref rig, satellite TV. Very reasonable. only negative was the water pressure so low it would take forever to get enough water in tub for jetted use. There was air conditioner(great) but no heat and mornings in this mountainous area are very chilly. Good area for hiking,fishing...no restaurants as such...quick food @ small grocery store or tackle shop...48 miles to St. Maries and 58 slow miles to St. Regis,Mt...but we were not in a hurry and were out to enjoy the outdoors.

Room Tip: not much choice 2-one bedroom and 2-2bedroom w/kitchenette

Six of us riding rzrs staged out of these cabins last fall, we ended up taking two of the cabins and they were great. Very clean and well maintained. It was easy to get to and the surrounding scenery is breath taking. I've. staged out of here twice now in 2013 and we have this place resv. Four more times in 2014, so goes to say we love it!!!!
