Pick a tray, decide on a dessert, choose from several meats, sides, breads, and drinks. The menu rotates daily, but they’ve always had fried green tomatoes.

It’s a tough place for dieting. They do have one sugar free pie, salad, and at least one meat option that isn’t fried. They have several vegetable options, but they’re generously buttered.

Expect it to be crowded, and give yourself some extra time for lunch. And maybe stretchy clothes are a good option.

It's a long way from home but we like to go here. Good food. Great service. Wish they had more variety.

Honey from the Rock is one of my favorite places to eat. However, over the past year or so, the portion size of their vegetables has decreased. I really like their macaroni and cheese but I don't feel like I get a serving proportionate to the price of my meal. Their desserts are really wonderful, especially the chocolate cake!

Honey From the Rock is a great place to get your veggies, prepared ‘southern’ style, fried chicken, pot roast, etc. and wonderful chocolate cake, banana puddin’ or homemade ice cream. Don’t skip the green tomatoes and cornbread fritters. You will leave happy and full and might need a nap! If there’s a little line, don’t worry. It moves quickly.

Plain and simple but really tasty food. Not much to look at but great for a group lunch. Friendly and accommodating staff with real homemade style food.
