I spent the overnight at this enjoyable tranquil Inn in Punta Gorda Belize. After a long drive it provided all the amenities for a restful night. The shower is great and the beds are soft plus a continental breakfast.

Stayed here at the end of a student trip to the jungle where we were without showers, electricity, etc. Sea Front Inn felt like paradise - well situated, clean, hot water, great view of the Caribbean. There was also amble gathering space for the students to enjoy in the evening, and the patios with chairs and hammocks were a great place to relax, read, etc. Management was very friendly. By far the best place to stay in Punta Gorda.

We are blessed to have our annual mission trip group hosted each year at the Sea Front Inn... and it is always such a pleasant stay.

Delightful rooms... clean, secure and welcoming. Best shower water pressure.... and well appreciated after an extended jungle stay!

Enjoy the beautiful ocean view and cool breezes from the common deck upstairs where you can relax, read or make yourself a cup of coffee.

As a member of Project Belize, I am so grateful for your beautiful inn and your welcoming and accommodating treatment of our large group, year after year!

We are delighted to say we are staying at the Sea Front Inn again! The tallest building in Punta Gorda, the owners, Larry and Karol put their hearts into the original design and decoration to make the hotel homey and the rooms each uniquely decorated. Since our last visit here , where there were balconies across the sea side of the hotel, they have added full size verandas on every floor including the 3rd floor restaurant/meeting room. We love sitting in the evening with an unobstructed view of the sea. The owners have over 40 years’ experience in this area so they are able to arrange any kind of activity we ask for and answer any local questions. Our favorite place in PG for sure!!

So happy to have you back at the Sea Front Inn! Thank you for taking time to review your stay. We are very proud of the additions of the verandas and the sea art that has been added and glad that you enjoyed them. Larry and Karol's love and knowledge of Belize, the Toledo district is a treasure that they are happy to share. Looking forward to serving you again soon!!!

Stayed three nights for cacao fest. The location is great for that! Walking distance to Garbutt's marina, the street fair and the bus station, so we were well placed for all three days and events of the chocolate festival. The room was large and there was next to no traffic noise. It was quiet for us, but we noticed that noises carried through the thin ceiling undiminished from the restaurant below our room - and vice versa! So if the restaurant ever was busy (the whole place was DEAD), things could get very noisy. The room was older and funky, but would have been quite nice if it would have been a bit cleaner. If you touched a window to open it you had to wash your hands afterward, and not one window or mirror in the house was clear or clean. Surfaces were a bit sticky and icky, but nothing really gross. Service (for breakfast) was spotty, some days you got some, others, not. All in all, not worth the money, for PG, where you can get spectacular lodges for similar money. But ok for cacao fest, when other places are booked or you want to be right in town.

Glad that you took the time to write a review about our place but unhappy that you found so much to dislike. We try to provide a clean comfortable place for our clients. So sorry that you were disappointed. Anytime that you are staying with us and are unhappy with your room or discover something that needs attention, we ask that you inform the front desk and we will try to make things better. We always offer continental breakfast. Occasionally, if there is a group staying, they may request a full breakfast and if so, other guests are welcome to partake of the full breakfast at a reasonable price as offered to the group, if they let the desk know. Anytime you have a complaint please let us know, we can't fix it until we know it and seeing it on trip advisor is hard to make it better for you. Visit with us again at your convenience, maybe we can make a better impression!
