We chose Rosa's for a couple of nights stay in San Ignacio partly because it had good reviews. However it didn't live up to what the reviews said. The location was excellent, right in the centre of town and the staff were friendly and helpful. However our room was really miserable and depressing. The bed wasn't comfortable and the bathroom was small and basic, although we did have hot water. We chose a room with a fan which was fine in January - there was no need to pay extra for AC. Breakfast was included and was OK but very limited choice. As others have said, the worst thing was the noise at night. There was music from the night club until 2 or 3 in the morning and then the heavy lorries started driving up the hill right outside the window at about 4am. I think there are better value places to stay in San Ignacio for a similar price.

Benque taxi charged us tourist prices USd$20 to San Ignacio. If we had walked further up into town it would have been cheaper to bus.

Rosa's room was comfortable but the bed was a little sunken in the middle. We had air condition so it was comfortable. We bought local food for USD$1 and there's 2 supermarkets across the street. Water was free at the hotel and it was refillable upstairs in the kitchen.

Laundry is available if needed. Bus stop to Belmopan and Benque was a few minutes walking distance and the Chinese people at the supermarkets were very friendly to show you directions. It's a bigger supermarket than the Vietnamese and grocery is cheaper at the Chinese market.

We hopped on the bus to Belmopan USD$1.50. The bus terminal is right in the white color park.

The location of this hotel is very convenient as it's closed to food stalls, local supermarkets, bus terminal and tour agencies. Wifi is strong and there's TV with English movies.

We stayed here for 5 nights in October 2014. Location is great as it's so close to everything in town. Nice staff as well! Rooms were a bit dirty and there was a few cockroaches and lots of ants in the bathroom (and by front door) but that is to be expected :) My only complaint would be how NOISY this place is! I don't think we got a full nights rest the whole time we were there (and I am a heavy sleeper!). It's right on the street where all of the trucks drive so you get the noise from that- I couldn't hear my boyfriend speak half of the time. There is also a disco club near by that pumps out music until 2-4 in the morning! Also, when it rains- it is LOUD! It kept me up for 3 hours one night! Such a shame because this place would an OKAY place if it wasn't so noisy.

We enjoyed our stay at Rosa's Hotel! Small, clean rooms. AC was pretty noisy but drowned out the noise from the nightclub. If you're a light sleeper, this won't be the hotel for you. The price was perfectly within our budget. Breakfast of toast, fruit, coffee/tea was laid out every morning on the open air patio. When leaving, they let us do our wash for free! Very friendly staff! Would stay here again!

Room Tip: Get a room with an AC, you'll need it!

Nicw and clean hotel with very continental breakfast. Stuff was great, very helpfull. 30 $ for a room with a fan and 40 $ for room with a/c. Location doesn't metter because San ignacio is very small, but it was right next to a small supermarket.
