Memorable and romantic stay at Chaa Creek! The weather late November was fantastic, and our cabin overlooked the Macal River; cool mornings and evenings made the patio surrounding our unit most inviting. Hope I don't spoil the surprise of a jacuzzi on the patio; it was splendid listening to the soft gurgle of the river while romantic jazz played on my I-Pad. Free wi-fi was a great addition. Of course the food was excellent, staff were professional yet friendly, and we met the resort owners! We will return hopefully in Spring to see the lush surroundings again and enjoy wonderful Chaa Creek!

Room Tip: we had a cabana that overlooked the river; it was magnificent!

Absolute perfection. I can’t overstate what a special place this is. Set in the middle of the Belizean jungle, surrounded by manicured tropical gardens, managed by highly trained and very friendly staff. The food comes from the farm and garden to the table, the bread is homemade, the villas are dream chalets. You just don’t want to leave and the moment you do you are planning your next trip there. I have stayed here on a few occasions and every time it somehow gets better!

We visited Chad Creek for 2 nights which was too short a time. The accommodation was excellent, the food really good and the staff couldn’t do enough to make our stay more pleasant. The infinity pool and gardens were perfect. Chad Creek is situated in a very pretty valley in the forest with the Macao river running through it, the surrounding area was really interesting and very pretty, and the walks, wild life and activities were numerous. It is well worth canoeing down the river, and going on a guided tour of the forest. Would certainly go back, but with more time.

Room Tip: We had the Macal suite which was wonderful, but looking at other rooms they are all good.

Chaa Creek is a must on your travel list. Don't even think twice!

I traveled with 2 friends - we stayed in the Cottages with thatched roofs. Such authenticity in design and pure comfort, indoor and outdoor showers, Porches with hammocks surrounded by lush and well manicured nature.

The staff went out of the way to please and accommodate us, providing us with the most excellence in service. This is clearly their number on priority.

We were so lucky to get meet Mick and Nancy the proprietors - on our last day. But every morning at breakfast spent time with Byrony their daughter. She shared endless stories about the history of this AMAZING resort and made sure we were well taken care of. The culture of Chaa Creek is evident in the way they take care of their staff of over 150 employees - whom they treat as family - which reflects in the way their staff treats their guests.....which is top notch!

We had so many memorable experiences and interactions. Alex lead us on a safari around the property which I believe is over 450 acres. His knowledge & energy was beyond his 21 years of age. We spent 3 days with Ricky; canoeing in the caves of Barton Creek, Visiting the Mayan Ruins of Xunantunich and driving us down to Placencia. He has eagle eyes for all the nature offers, knowledge of the Mayans and their history....and was happy to share many of the hidden secrets & treasures most would miss. Alice brought a smile to us every morning at breakfast and I can't remember her name - she was the hostess on staff for every dinner sharing her elegance and experience in assuring our happiness.

Thank you Chaa Creek for making our stay simply AMAZING!

We miss you.....Michele, Donna & Michael!
