Huge, very comfortable rooms with two King size beds, full kitchen, unlimited drinking water and big fridgerator. Private entrance to pool. We spend there amazing time. We’re fully satisfied. Definitely recomended.

Stayed here for 5 nights, impressed with room 10, good little kitchen, a great view. However on arrival our room wasn't ready, and than the cleaning staff wouldn't clean our room during our stay, we asked 5 different times and the answer was 'we'll be there soon' they wouldn't show up and clean it, we had garbage everywhere and the ants loved it. And the garbage can in the washroom was overflowing from toilet tissue. We enjoyed our stay, but I would've loved if our room got at least emptied from garbage, I would've actually done it myself if I had a place to put it outside the room.

One of the most affordable accommodation options on Caye Caulker. Currently undergoing renovations. Good location in quiet area close to water taxi but close enough to everything. Staff average, took us a while to even find someone to check in. When we got to our room we found a lot of water on the floor from leaking air con and the lock on door didn’t work. They did eventually fix these problems. Large room and basic kitchenette. Poor wifi.

Just got back from our second week long stay @ Popeyes (top floor-ocean front room) and it was very nice, the A/C is ice cold, room was clean and it has everything you need. The pool is awesome, crystal clear, refreshing and has a great ledge along street. The staff (Gilbert & Elias) were friendly and accommodating and gave great restaurant suggestions. The wi-fi is good so long as your not trying to download movies, but using viber or facebook to make calls was a breeze. You just have to keep in mind that you are staying on a small island in Central America, the people of Caye Caulker do an excellent job with what they have to work with.
The views are awesome and there is always something to do. Conch season just opened and the local fisherman had fresh Conch, Lobster and Black Snapper for sale next door......I have stayed at more expensive hotels on the island ($200 per night after taxes) but you cant go wrong with the price point @ Popeyes...........

Room tip: Ocean front rooms are awesome for the price.......

Huge room with a double bed, shower and cooking facilities for a great price.

Location is good, nice and quiet in the evenings but not too far from the main strip.

Pool is small, but hey ho it's a cheap place, what do you expect.

Overall, great place
