I've been to Caye Caulker a lot and I've stayed here a few of those times. This is the perfect place to stay on Caye Caulker. Convenient, clean, helpful, friendly. It's exactly what you need and the location can't be beat...it's about the halfway point between the split and restaurants/bars. It also has a few chairs on the beach which is great.

And the people are amazing, we just went back for a 3rd time and they totally remember us at this point. They are so nice and friendly, helped us with any questions or advice we needed.

Their snorkel shop across the street is also great. Fabian took us out on a fishing/snorkel trip this last time and we caught barracuda (he then cooked it for dinner for us), swam with manatees, and just a generally great day. If you stay at Rainbow (or even if you don't) I definitely recommend them.

We paid 100/night for our room. The windows don't open and have bars on them and the second night we were there the power went out so it was like 90 degrees in the room and we had no way of getting air in because the windows don't open. We also had no light or tv or anything so we were in pitch black for 12 hours. We went and told the front desk the next morning because we wanted our money back for that night at least and the desk person just said "it's not our fault the power went out." This place was awful.

Small hotel, central location ( you can get to everywhere in 5 mins on foot ), restaurants and bars nearby, amazing sunup and sunset from the second floor, nice and clean room with AC. Would go back again.

What it is: Good value hotel that is located really well on Caye Caulker
What it is NOT: Luxury hotel with all the amenities

The Rainbow Hotel is a fun little hotel that is really well located on Caye Caulker. 5min walk from where the ferries dump you out and 5min from the split. It honestly felt like everything was within 5min walk. Located on the eastern side of Caye Caulker with easy access to several good restaurants and grocery stores.

Has AC, free WiFi, I think cable TV (idk, we didn't check), nice toiletries, good clean bathrooms and friendly responsive staff. The value for what you get feels high. Room is cleaned daily along with a couple of complimentary bottles of water each time.

It does not have a pool, or restaurant directly attached. The Rainbow restaurant is located on the beach out front. But you're located near so many other good restaurants, why go to just one.

Margarita Mikes is located nearby, and while they play loud music, we had no problems with street noise or MM.

If you're looking for a good spot to launch your fun adventures (scuba, snorkel, eating, tanning) on Caye Caulker, check out Rainbow Hotel!!

Room tip: Room 107 is good location. Centrally located on second floor. Good view of ocean
