I chose to stay at this new property rather than the nearby Fairfield Inn. I didn't have a great experience there, so the bar here was low.
Access to the hotel from the main road is a little confusing. You'll need to drive past the Fairfield and turn in right after the TownPlace sign.
The room was fine. Except for the bathroom, it's clearly a better choice. Even the studio that I was in had a kitchenette. You're not going to be doing any real cooking, but you can save a few bucks picking up frozen or prepared food at the nearby Publix instead of eating out.
I don't know if this is brand standard or not, but the shower had no door. In my experience, this is never a good thing. Despite efforts, a lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor.
Breakfast was so-so. While I'd rate it higher than what I got at the Fairfield, I wouldn't say that it cleared the bar by much of a margin. If you're making an extended stay, it might be a better choice to get your own breakfast foods.
If you're looking at options, I'd definitely choose this hotel over the Fairfield Inn -- particularly if you'll be staying several days.More
