The Hotel is older but decent. Excellent hot breakfast and apres-ski wine, beer, and substantial snacks/light dinner included. Free transportation to and from airport. Walking distance to bus stop for all four ski areas.

I’ve been staying at the Hotel Aspen for over 10 years. The location is great and you have beautiful views of Ajax Mountain while eating a hearty complementary breakfast.

It is conveniently located in town and RFTA stops for the other mountains is close by.

We loved apres ski at the hotel, soaking in the hot tub and taking a dip on the pool.

From the complimentary shuttle service to the airport (thanks Tyler) to the friendly staff and great price for the value I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Lovely little hotel. Appears like it’s been renovated but for $1300 I expected the rooms to be much nicer. Very small room, tiny bathroom and our room wasn’t completely painted. The common areas are well kept, and this was pet friendly. The staff is spectacular, very kinda and helpful. The pool is cute, and well kept. Loved the evening reception if you want an appetizer or even light dinner. The breakfast was nice with many choices.
I would stay here again, but NOT for the price. Maybe we paid for the location?!? Close to all the shopping, and Aspen Highlands mountain.

We stayed at Hotel Aspen for 3 nights in January. The hotel is fairly small but that means that the service is very personal and attentive. We had the third floor Jacuzzi room which was fantastic! The room was spacious, and came equipped with a mini-bar and counter, king sized bed, and a private balcony with hot tub! It was wonderful to relax at the end of the day in the cool air and snow, while soaking in 103F water! It was great at night to watch the stars and have champagne! Joe and the other staff were fantastic, arranging for free shuttles to and from the airport (which we used often since our flights were cancelled due to bad weather), and even rebooking us when we needed an extra night. There is a nice lounge on the second floor with fireplace that is perfect to have a glass of wine, and this is also where breakfast is served. My only complaint would be that the food often ran out at breakfast and items could have been restocked more quickly. The location is slightly outside of center, but the blocks are very small and only 5 min. walk. We caught the Highlands bus right outside on the street and the Snowmass bus stop is also there....so very convenient location. Overall, a very good property.

Room Tip: The private Jacuzzi rooms are worth the extra costs!!

Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast is a perfect way to start your day and the you wln't need much dinner after the great Apres ski. We enjoyed meeting people from Europe, Australia, and from across the US.

Room Tip: The Aspen snow plows can get noisy, but that meant a powder morning
