We love it for lunch! They don’t have the big lunch salad that I always crave, but they have tasty burgers, lobster rolls, truffle fries and a fun party vibe!

I had seen the restaurant several times while skiing on the mountain. Figuring it was more of an upscale, fancy restaurant that you would go to for dinner I had not considered eating there while skiing. It is located inside the Little Nell Resort at the base of Ajax Mountain. They offer both seating inside as well as outside on the patio. I decided to eat inside away from the elements, and even with ski boots on I did not feel out of place.

If you are looking for something quick and cheap this is not your place. However if you are looking for great food and service you will not be disappointed. I I have celiac disease and had plenty of choices which can be a challenge sometimes. I ordered the winter squash entree which included quinoa and a purée. They even provided gluten-free bread at no additional cost which was an unexpected bonus. The bread even tasted good which can be an issue a lot of the times. The food was very good, although the portion was on the smaller side for what they charged. The portion was large enough for one person, so I definitely did not leave hungry.

If you are looking for someplace for either lunch or dinner I would highly recommend the Ajax Tavern. Whether you are in ski clothes or formal wear you will feel welcome here. The food is excellent and they offer something for everyone.

Very good food and service! We were in kind of a hurry because there was a flight to catch so we came in and were promptly seated, ordered the food which arrived fast and was very very good! Also ordered a glass os champagne that was nice and cold, the way it should be! It is located right at the bottom of the mountain so it’s good for after skiing hang out...
