But pretty small. Got boring after three days. Of course you can hop a bus (free) and have your skis transferred ($10) and get to three other ski areas in minutes.

Even if you don’t ski, take the gondola to the top of the Mountain to view the most beautiful site of Aspen. Good choice of menu items to eat indoors or out. Weather permitting, lots of activities for children and adults. Music playing jugglers photographers dogs barking balloon makers and artists Obviously if you were a skier you’re about to commence a wonderful run

We skied Aspen Mountain during our recent ski trip to Colorado. Despite the lack of snow and being about 70% open, we still enjoyed skiing the mountain. For apres ski drinks, try the Ajax tavern at the base of the gondola.

Such a fun thing to do in Aspen, even if you're not a skier. Great views from the gondola on the ride up and then stunning views from the top. The lift ticket included some money for the restaurant at the top so we had a bite to eat and chatted with some skiers. Poked around the peak for a bit. Felt a bit of the effects of the high altitude after a while so headed down back to town. A highlight of our trip to Denver/Aspen!

The grooming is excellent, the lifts are fast, the gondolas are new, and the food incredible. It is pricey but definitely worth it!..
