This house is perfect for a multifamily get together!! We stayed in the Paulson house for Christmas weekend with two families. The lower rec room level was perfect for the kids to hang out and sleep and the upper level rooms were great for the adults. The kitchen was large enough to have several people in at one time cooking a big meal and the dining table seats 10 comfortably.
During active snow fall chains are a must to get to this home. It's several roads off the main highway on the eastern edge of Blue Lake Springs. Its seems only the two main roads through BLS are snow plowed.
We are looking forward to returning in the summer time to take advantage of all the area has to offer.
Arnold has many different types of restaurants and breweries to choose from. And wine tasting is also very close. And we heard the restaurant in BLS is really good but didn't try it.
They only thing I'd say was lacking is no coat/clothing hooks right inside the front entry area to remove mass amounts of cold weather gear.
We recently stayed in Paulson cabin over Labor Day weekend. Booked the cabin for 2 days through realty company. The cabin is located on a quiet cul de sac in BLSA, about 2 miles from the Recreation center area. The tri-level cabin was very spacious with ample space for 8-10 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. There is also a set of bunk beds in the lower basement level. We had linen service included in our rental for additional $50. We were quiet happy with the furniture and general upkeep of the cabin. It was definitely a nice retreat in the woods. Will definitely rent this cabin again. The realty company was easy to deal with and provided detailed instructions and other information.
