“Doesn't have to be fancy to be great”

We were delighted by how clean this hotel was, especially for the price. The rates were good, the staff was very courteous, the rooms were definitely big enough for us, and it's right across the street from disneyland so we didn't have to worry about driving and parking.
The in-house restaurant has a decent breakfast buffet for a very reasonable price. The grounds are neat and clean.
Our only complaint was that the clientele that was there at the same time we were was a little questionable - but I don't hold the hotel responsible for the people who book rooms. :D

We just came back from staying there.. the rooms were really outdated.. nd the bathroom had little hairs allover.. the beds were extremly hard.. u do get what u pay for.. the location was great.. just kiddie corner from disneyland.. so if u have the extra money i would recommend paying little more for a better hotel.. i would not stay here again.. i will pay for a cleaner nd better hotel..

I have now stayed at this hotel 2 times. The first time was as a chaperone for a group of students performing at Disneyland, and the second time with my husband, our toddler son & my inlays. Both times, the staff was wonderful. They allowed us to check in early (when our rooms were available) and had no problem giving us parking passes for our cars, very early on the check in day. Their parking rate is much lower than any other hotel we've stayed at. The hotel is definitely old, but you can't beat the location as you can walk to Disneyland quicker than parking in the Disney lot and taking to the tram to the park. We had no problems parking at the hotel (as we have in other places we've stayed). When we took a bus with students, the staff graciously let us leave our bags in a secured room, until our rooms were ready. When we stayed with students, the kids loved the adjoining rooms, where they could easily go from one room to another 3 or 4 door and never having to go outside. I would recommend asking for a room near the front of the hotel if you aren't a fan of walking, as the hotel area is quite large. We never saw anyone in the hotel, and you definitely didn't have to fight for a chair at the pool. The rooms were clean, but old. We had no problem getting a crib for our son, and they got it to us very quickly. The hotel was very quiet & we were able to park right next to our room the first of our 2 stays.

Overall, we had a great stay. The location was wonderful, staff incredibly helpful, and a price that couldn't be beat. I would recommend anyone to stay here if they don't mind a slightly older hotel, within walking distance of Disneyland. My in-laws are elderly and still thought the short walk wasn't too bad.

Room Tip: The back of the hotel was great when traveling with a group because of the adjoining rooms. The fro...

Just got back from another trip at Christmas to visit the mouse. This time at the Plaza Hotel and Suites we had a downstairs room, king sized bed. The bed was comfortable and the room had a little patio outside which was great for our kid to play in when we would take breaks from the park. Yes, the hotel rooms could use some updating, and the AC/Heating situation is bizarre. But the the room is clean, the location is close and the price is hard to beat. The staff was friendly and responsive. The 4 stars I'm giving it take into account the price-point... This isn't a fancy place, but or the money and location, we were really pleased again.

Who wants to wait for the bus at the end of the day? This is a great location for families. The Disney parks are 'kiddie corner' from this hotel and a quick walk back.
The rooms are clean, easy walking to Disneyland, restaurant on the premises and a huge swimming pool and spa. We were in the pool in December!
We had an issue in the room and maintenance came to fix it right away. I was very pleased with the service provided.
This is my second time here and I would stay again, but I'd ask for a Deluxe room next time. Nicer and larger for the same price.
Rooms do have refrigerators and you can ask for a microwave. Microwaves are inexpensive enough these days, I hope management considers putting them in every room.
