We were here on 2 instances. Once in the evening and it's very very busy. The day visit was a better experience and more enjoyable. If you enjoy shopping and eating out this place is great. The world of Disney store is a good place to get last minute gifts. The rainforest cafe is cute but too pricey. The ESPN restaurant is ok.

There's shopping galore, and then far more restaurants than in the park. You should plan on spending around $15 per person minimum at all of the restaurants. We went to Jazz cafe and I had the Creole Caesar Wrap, my boyfriend had the spicy chicken sandwich. The portions were gigantic and could easily be shared. I've heard the beignets were good, as well.

If you ever needed a quick getaway from the parks, Downtown Disney is for you. There are plenty of food and shopping options. If you're looking for some AC and a rest area, you can head inside the Grand California Hotel and lounge on one of their sofas.

Great places to eat, especially Earl of Sandwich. Monorail available to take you back to the park. Some great Disney specialist stores.

My husband and I visited Downtown Disney as a part of participating in the Disneyland Half. We enjoyed eating, people watching and the free entertainment. It is expensive, but it is a taste of Disney without paying for, well, Disney. We also enjoyed the Pokestops and chatting with other visitors and cast members. The Lego Store sculptures were amazing and of course, Sephora.
