I’ve eaten at Amsterdam several times over the years my son was in school here and the food has always been creative , fresh and delicious. The Waite staff all seem to be college age but are very knowledgeable and attentive

Great spot with a warm and cozy first impression. Nicely assembled decor. The food & ambience are terrific ... service was horrible!

It’s a shame that a spot with so much potential could hire a server as poorly selected as ours. This young lady seemed to have a chip in her shoulder throughout. We were our best southern hospitality selves!

The breakfast tacos were excellent. Same for the steak & eggs. Their signature burger got two thumbs up. Rum salmon was a hit. The Jai Alai IPAs was wonderful.

We spent $130.00 for four people, and would have welcomed that if not for the pitiful service. Whoever hired her is really the culprit here. This lady just doesn’t have the aptitude for the people business. And my bet is that we are not the first family to endure such a sour experience. No plans to return!

Sat outside and the service was fast and friendly. Calamari was delicious, chicken and mac&cheese was tasty, ribeye was average, lobster ravioli was pretty standard but the corn underneath was incredible! Bread pudding was also great. Extensive wine menu with high-end choices. Will be back!

Just went there for a work celebration...I had the shirmp appitizer...was ok but not great. I tried the lobster rolls and liked them better. Also had the ribeye and would rate it a 7 out of 10...this place had a good atmosphere but pricey.. Also plan going early for parking or walking a distance.

This is the second time I’ve eaten here in the last six months and the food is way over seasoned. First time was the shrimp and grits. This time was the special (Beef and sautéed plantains with chorizo corn)...again, too much salt. My server was fantastic, but the atmosphere is very noisy. I am a local too, and there are much better places than this in Auburn.
