House was clean and had everything we needed. Only had one bathroom, which was upstairs, very cramped, not the most convenient for large groups. Wasn't in the best neighborhood and very close to emergency vehicle station. The house was located right on city bus line, so great for transportation!
The accommodation is located in the district Anacostia, in a mostly black community only five kilometers away from the innercity. Also the Fredrick Douglass National historic site (one of the most prominent African Americans of the 19th century and civil rights activist) is not far away,
The accommodation, an appartment over two floors, is connected via the circulator- and metrobus to downtown Washington D.C.
The next Metro underground station (Anacostia) is about 1.4 kilometers away.
We enjoyed our stay there a lot in the spacious appartment and realy appreciated the kindness and great hospitality of the owners.
